He usually dodges answering when Ai is brought up in a conversation, basically trying not to draw attention to the duel disk.

Gloxinia is one of the demon races' Ten Commandments. He was originally the King of the Fairy King's Forest and wields Spirit Spear Basquias, one of the strongest Fairy King's abilities. Basquias can wield ten total forms, the first a spear and the second a guardian. You're the demon princess.

This takes place before he finds out about his counterparts and before he duels the Sledgehammer (meaning he doesn't know he has counterparts or pendulum abilities yet).
