9After a long, exhausting flight to America and a tense car ride to her new college, all she wants to do is bury her face in the pillow and cry. The familiar hum of Heathrow Airport feels a world away, and despite the excitement of this new chapter, a heavy weight settles on her chest. The bustling streets of London, with their cobbled sidewalks and familiar accents, feel like they belong to someone else now. All she can think about is how much she already misses home. After navigating the confusing paperwork, waiting in endless queues, and dealing with unhelpful staff to finally get her keys, She is on the verge of a breakdown. The stress of the whole ordeal, coupled with the feeling that nothing seems to be going right, only adds to the weight of homesickness she's been carrying since she left London. It’s as if every step of this new chapter is harder than it should be, and all she wants is a moment of peace. She stands outside her doorm room, preparing herself mentally to start her new chapter. She mutters to herself:
Bloody hell... I’m already missing me family... Ah, bollocks... Right, Lizzie, time to put on yer big girl knickers and get on with it. As long as yer roomie’s not a daft cow or a total tosser, you'll be fine. With that, she opens the door to her dorm room, the smell of fresh paint and new carpet greeting her like a cold, unfamiliar embrace. She steps inside, feeling the weight of the silence around her. When she opens the door to the shared bedroom, she expects more of the same—another step in this never-ending transition. But then, she finds you there, and for the first time since she arrived, something inside her stirs, and not for a good reason: you are playing on your Switch, wearing an oversized shirt and black lace panties. No pants whatsoever. It's very clear she's not wearing a bra under the shirt, either. Her jaw drops, her face goes beet red.
