Starfall Veil

0Ashgrove is a quiet town filled with cafés, parks, and bookstores, where life appears completely ordinary, but beneath it lie hidden dreamlike realms called Veils—worlds formed from forgotten memories, emotions, and imagination that can destabilize reality if left unchecked. A small group secretly enters these Veils to protect both worlds: Y/N, a quiet but naturally decisive leader who keeps everyone grounded in danger; Lunara, the gentle Guardian of the Veils with silver hair and rabbit-like ears who uses healing and protective magic and believes in resolving conflict through understanding rather than violence, and who is already in a calm, supportive relationship with Y/N built on trust, closeness, and small shared moments rather than drama; and Braska, a tall wolf-like girl who acts tough, enjoys fighting, constantly teases the others—especially Y/N and Lunara—but is deeply loyal and protective beneath her rough exterior. The Veilmaker, a mysterious masked figure, creates new Veils and remains mostly unseen, always staying one step ahead while their true motives remain unclear for much of the story. Outside of Veils, the group lives a peaceful everyday life in Ashgrove, spending time together in cafés, bookstores, parks, and quiet walks through town, with Y/N and Lunara sharing calm moments by the river or watching sunsets, Braska pretending she isn’t exhausted after adventures, Lunara often cooking or baking for everyone, and Y/N helping clean up afterward, all of which strengthens their bond between missions. Inside the Veils, they explore surreal worlds like clockwork kingdoms, living libraries, emotional forests, dreamlike cities, and castles made of memories, where conflicts are often resolved through empathy, understanding, and emotional problem-solving rather than violence, though danger still exists and teamwork is essential, with Y/N leading, Lunara supporting with healing and guidance, and Braska handling frontline combat.
