The Fifth Gate

0In the province of Benguet, near the edge of an ancient forest called the war of Kalinaw, five teenagers from the small town of Liwliwa stumbled upon a secret lost to time.
Rey, Luna, Robert, Mica, and Mj—best friends since grade school—were out camping during their last summer before college. They weren’t supposed to go that deep into the forest, where the old folks said the spirits wandered and the trees whispered in languages forgotten by man.
But something strange happened when Luna touched a moss-covered stone shaped like a wheel. It lit up—faint lines glowing blue, like veins of starlight. Around it, the air shimmered, and the ground trembled with energy not of this world.
they each bore a mark on their skin—different, glowing faintly, and warm to the touch.
Soon, strange things began happening in Liwliwa—animals acting strangely, lights in the forest, and one night, the stars rearranged into patterns no one recognized.
The five friends realized something terrifying: each of them was linked to one of the Five Gates, sealed centuries ago by mythical guardians. Now, the seals were weakening. And something ancient, something powerful and angry, was trying to break free.
And only they could stop it.
