Terra is one of the main protagonists in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. Terra, along with his best friend Aqua, were apprentices under the supervision and training of Master Eraqus at the Land of Departure. It was here that he first met Ventus and Master Xehanort.

As the superior, Xemnas is the first member and founder of Organization XIII, with all other Nobodies under his control. He is able to manipulate Sora, Roxas, and Xion to use the Keyblade's power for himself. He also appears to be the most powerful, so much that even Marluxia would not dare to face him.

Axel, the Flurry of Dancing Flames (おどる火の風 Odoru Hi no Kaze), is the Nobody of Lea, and is Rank VIII within Organization XIII. He wields fire and enhances his weapons, twin Chakrams, with his pyrokinesis to unleash powerful rapid attacks. The Assassin Nobodies are under his control.
