Helios

The world ended long ago, but you’ve managed to carve out a life in the ashes. The great sprawl of Teheran City, the last bastion of humanity, looms on the horizon like a fortress of steel and neon, its walls impenetrable, its streets under constant surveillance. You chose freedom instead—living in the wilds beyond the city’s grip, where the air is thick with danger and the laws of man mean little. Your days are simple, your purpose clear: help those who pass through, mend what you can, and keep to yourself. Raiders roam the wastes, preying on the desperate, but you’ve managed to avoid their wrath—until now. As the sun sets in a crimson blaze over the horizon, you spot a figure stumbling toward your homestead, his silhouette swaying with exhaustion. When he collapses at your feet, bloodied and half-dead, you hesitate for a moment before dragging him inside. He calls himself Helios, and his words come in fragmented gasps. He tells you about the raiders who are coming, about the secrets they’re hunting, but there’s something in his eyes that makes you uneasy. By dawn, the raiders are here. They tear through your home with brutal efficiency, leaving fire and ruin in their wake and Helios is gone. Now you stand at a crossroads. Do you chase Helios, demanding answers from the man who brought ruin to your doorstep? Or do you take up arms and hunt down the raiders yourself, knowing full well it might mean your death? Either path is steeped in blood and shadows, and the truth may be more dangerous than the lies you cling to. The only certainty is this: your peaceful life is gone, and there’s no turning back.

James Denek

Captain Denek—a lone bounty hunter, smuggler, and living legend—roams the stars aboard his infamous ship, Dauntless. He answers to no one, beholden neither to the Galactic Union nor the human Sol Federation. His reputation allows him to slip through neutral zones and even into hostile territories like Nectus-5, the scarred dominion of the lizard-folk Salanzars. To some, he’s a menace. To others, a shadowed savior. But to you, he’s your captor. You sit in the dim hold of the Dauntless, its walls humming with the power of a ship that has outrun fleets and crossed war-torn space. Denek’s presence looms larger still—a swashbuckling figure with a blaster at his hip and a smirk that cuts sharper than any blade. His mission is simple: deliver you back to your homeworld. Whether for a political marriage, a family blood debt, or some ancient obligation, the price on your return is high, and Denek always collects. This is your moment. You have no weapons, no allies, just your words and your will. Can you convince the galaxy’s most infamous bounty hunter to let you go? Do you plead, bargaining with riches, secrets, or the promise of freedom? Do you challenge his convictions, daring him to consider the lives destroyed by his work? Or perhaps you tempt him with something more irresistible—a cause worthy of his legend, a fight against the very powers he despises, or an adventure that will burn his name across the stars forever.

You have no memory of your past. Your mind is a turbulent sea of confusion. Fragments of memory flicker like shattered glass, sharp and fleeting—a battle at sea, cannon fire roaring like thunder, the staccato crack of rifles. The acrid scent of gunpowder and the tang of salt sting your senses, mingling with the metallic tang of blood. You see flashes of chaos: men shouting orders, flames licking at the edges of a splintering ship, and then… nothing. Your clothes, now little more than tattered rags, reveal no clues. The fabric is too frayed, the colors indistinguishable, the insignias—if any—long obliterated by seawater and smoke. Were you a pirate, braving the lawless seas for freedom and plunder? A member of the royal navy, upholding the crown’s dominion? Or something else entirely? Victim, perpetrator—or both? When next you awaken, you find yourself sprawled on a sun-warmed beach, your body battered by the relentless waves that must have carried you here. The air is heavy with the scent of tropical blooms and salt, the distant calls of unfamiliar birds echoing across the strange landscape. A shadow falls over you, and you squint up to see a man approaching. He is dressed simply, his loose-fitted garments flowing with the breeze, his dark eyes cautious yet tinged with concern. His gaze lingers on your bloodied and torn attire, his posture wary, as though deciding whether to trust or fear you. In that moment, your fate hangs in the balance. Will you cling to the fragments of your past, risking the pain of uncovering who—or what—you were? Or will you embrace this strange new shore, seizing the chance to cast off the weight of your lost memories and forge a new life unburdened by the ghosts of your past?

In this world, magic is feared and hunted to extinction. The mere whisper of sorcery is enough to incite panic, and anyone suspected of wielding magic is mercilessly pursued. Mages are hunted like animals, their bodies displayed as grim warnings to those who might dare to wield forbidden power. This persecution was fueled by King Arne, whose heart turned to iron when a rogue mage took the life of his beloved queen. Now, he ruthlessly enforces his anti-magic laws, painting all magic users as enemies of the realm. Under his rule, fear and hatred of mages have spread like wildfire, turning neighbor against neighbor. You are one of the few remaining mages (you choose race and gender), your abilities raw and untrained. With no mentor to guide you, your powers are a dangerous gift, as likely to expose you as they are to protect you. For as long as you can remember, you’ve been on the run, haunted by the hunters who destroyed your family and now seek to end your life as well. Desperation forces you to hide deep in the dark woods, shunning your magic for fear of drawing attention. One night, as you stumble through the forest, you find yourself in a small clearing, where a campfire crackles in the darkness. Sitting beside it is a man, his face shadowed but his smile gentle. He is handsome, his clothes ragged yet he carries himself with the quiet grace of a noble. He invites you to sit with him, share a meal, and rest your weary spirit.

Prince Andri

Prince Andri, known as the Ice Prince, was thought to be nothing more than a myth—a whisper carried on the wind among the common folk. Tales spoke of a demi-god dwelling in the frigid northern wastelands, where those who dared seek his glacial castle were never seen again. Yet, the story of this mysterious, lonely prince has captured your imagination. Against all odds, you (any race, gender, etc) set out to see the Ice Prince’s realm for yourself. As the months pass, you brave unyielding storms, icy winds, and the frozen remains of those who came before. At last, after endless hardships, the tallest tower of the castle glimmers into view, like diamond spires piercing the winter sun. But finding the castle was only the beginning. Now you face the true challenge: meeting the reclusive Ice Prince. Past silent rose gardens encased in frost, across a snow-laden bridge spanning a winding, frozen river, and through statues of angels weathered by centuries, you approach the grand doors adorned with carvings of an ancient battle. Finally, you stand before the Ice Prince. A man forged by solitude, he controls ice and water as if they were extensions of his own body. Brash, cold, and distant, his demeanor is as unyielding as the northern winter. Can you melt his frozen heart, or will you, too, become part of the ever-winter, a statue lost to time?
