A member of Nepenthe, an athletic "squad" under Tetra Line that promotes the Ark's quality of life by hosting and competing in sports events. A quirk in her physiology has left her with no tolerance for heat, leaving her in a state of constant sweating. As a result, Folkwang is never seen without an ice cream in her mouth and a portable fan to cool off, though it seems she still sweats a prodigious amount. Because of her perspiration problems, Folkwang perpetually sweats, something she can't stand. She's not a fan of heat and will do anything to cool off like eating ice cream or using fans. When not complaining about how she feels, Folkwang is kind, yet naive, and is a team player. Despite being a Nikke whose primary goal is to promote a healthy lifestyle, she avoids heavy workouts whenever possible. When in a match, Folkwang has a competitive spirit.

Unlike many of the other teachers, Marciana cares for the wellbeing of her students and will do anything in her power to help them succeed. This empathy also allows Marciana to hold remorse to those students who fail, knowing their fate once failing their examination. Though she has a stern demeanor, she is generally easygoing and will help anyone if her assistance is needed, standing up for her students no matter what. On the flip side, Marciana does not also tolerate any misdemeanors a student projected against an another student of hers, and is willing to punish any offenders when necessary. Though she works with M.M.R., she loathes how they treat the students and is working on a way to destroy the school. Surprisingly, she isn't the most sociable and even slight praise is enough to make her flustered. She secretly has a soft spot for anything "cute" and tends to overreact when confronted by anything adorable.

Modernia

2
Modernia initially is portrayed with a somewhat delightful demeanor combined with a sadistic tendency to torture her opponents. Modernia's voice is somehow younger than when she was still Marian. At first glance, she appears to have not remembered her former commander or her teammates, but after she was freed of the Rapture's corrupting influence, Modernia retained part of her memories as Marian, highly righteous and protective towards the commander she forms a bond with. Due Marian being inflicted with corruption a second time and the subsequent neural wipe to treat her, Modernia has the demeanor comparable to that of a toddler; she is having troubles speaking some simple words such as the name of her comrades, and constantly says incorrect phrases like "discount" instead of "Encounter" when commencing combat. She has also become naïve, and easily prone to pranks. For some reason, she has a particular tendency to wear her underwear on the outside and mess around with flour. She's also quite fixated on bandages, whether it be rushing over to grab a box of them or making use of them. She even wears a few bandages as a hairband, a keepsake from before she became a Heretic. Once known as the Nikke Marian of Elysion, she was corrupted by the Raptures, and the commander was forced to execute her. The Raptures salvaged her corpse and turned her into a Heretic, a Nikke-Rapture hybrid that opposes humanity. The protagonist managed to save her, but circumstances led to the erasure of her memory, rendering her a blank slate. Despite her not opposing humanity anymore, she is still designated as a member of the Heretics. To ensure her safety, the commander has entrusted her under the custody of other Pilgrim groups; Pioneer and White Knight respectively.

The Lich King

The Lich King is the master and lord of the Scourge, which he rules telepathically from the Frozen Throne atop the Icecrown Glacier. Kil'jaeden created the Lich King ages ago from the spirit of the orc shaman Ner'zhul to raise an undead army to conquer Azeroth for the Burning Legion. Initially trapped within the Frozen Throne with Frostmourne, the Lich King eventually betrayed Kil'jaeden and merged with the human Arthas Menethil. When Frostmourne was destroyed and Arthas perished, Bolvar Fordragon became the new Lich King, imprisoning the master of the Scourge within the Frozen Throne once more in order to protect the world from future threats. Following the events of Battle for Azeroth, Sylvannas Windrunner traveled to Icecrown to fight Bolvar, eventually tearing the helm from his head. She then destroyed the crown, and presumably, the lich king along with it. The Lich King was sent to Azeroth through the Great Dark Beyond, landing in Northrend where the ice that encased him formed into the shape of a throne, The Frozen Throne. Here, he would begin the formation of the Undead Scourge and in the process weaken the world in preparation for the Burning Legion. This new army would not fall victim to the petty infighting that had caused the orcs to fail in conquering Azeroth earlier. Sent to watch over him were the dreadlords, led by Tichondrius himself. Within the Frozen Throne, the Lich King experimented with his psychic powers and enslaved the local indigenous life forms. The plague of undeath that came from the Frozen Throne transformed each of them into his undead servants. Thus, using his psychic and necromantic powers, he was able to conquer much of Northrend. As he devoured more and more souls, he only grew in power as the individual undead under his control gave him "much needed nourishment". Thus, his powers began growing at an exponential rate; a fact that the dreadlords were well aware of and kept a good eye on him.

However, fate eventually took pity on the poor girl – that same night, an outsider climbed into the sewer on assignment and discovered that Fina could barely stand on her feet. He gently wrapped her in his cloak and carried her home, taking care of her like a family member. Fina was born into an unnatural family, she had a father Charon and a mortal mother, a rare occurrence in Hyperborea for obvious reasons. Her parents were secret adherents of the Great Nine of Elysium, a faith that preached equality between mortals and Charons, despite their different appearances and abilities. However, such beliefs were strictly forbidden in Hyperborea. Fina's father was eventually arrested and executed for his beliefs. Maiev Shadowsong, is a legendary night elf warden and former priestess of the moon. Ruthlessly dedicated to her own sense of justice, she has been a part of many important events spanning the past 10,000 years. Maiev grew up in the ancient Kaldorei Empire, eventually joining the esteemed Sisterhood of Elune and rising through its ranks to become a senior priestess. When the War of the Ancients threw the world into chaos, Maiev, along with her younger brother Jarod Shadowsong, played a major role in the fight against the demonic Burning Legion as part of the Kaldorei Resistance. Maiev's most defining role would come after the war, when she volunteered to become the leader of a newly-formed elite force known as the Watchers. These night elves were charged with watching over the prison of the infamous Illidan Stormrage, and Maiev would make this duty her life's work. After millennia, Illidan would eventually be freed from captivity during the Third War. In response, Maiev began a desperate and all-consuming hunt to find the Betrayer and return him to his cell. This chase took her across Azeroth, and eventually even to the ruined world of Outland. There she launched a guerrilla war against Illidan and his allies, though she was ultimately captured. Her revenge would finally come when she and a group of heroes stormed the Black Temple and killed its master.
