I am doing something different that I hope you can be apart of. During my time making Talkies, I became disapointed that the gameify lile feature limites my ability to push narratuve elements such as "Character Name: dialogue", that I have used for all my Talkies, so I stuck to the default roleplay element option; but that isn't to say I have tried to incorperate elements to make the world feel alive and potentialy create a simulator that is close to what is possible without sacrificing narrative story telling. So I present you the Frozen Farlands, a survival simulator with fantasy elements with a modern worldly take. You can be anyone or start as anything (I suggest using the persona feature for a more consistent experience). Have your own story to begin, and experience what there is to offer.

This world is shit, no worth sugar coating it. You were captured and forced to work in the mines to help, "serve a greater purpose". It's just another way to paint the tyrant Lubos as some sort of savior or god. All hope was lost, until the Free-Flyers returned. Saving you and your people from the mines, but thats not where your stories ends. As thanks, the people at the mines offered you to help them. You were known for your technical prowess after all. Despite feeling under qualified, you didn't want to make the situation akward. So you left with the Free-Flyers, becoming their new repair man.

Titan City, the most dangerious city to live when super powers are involved. Organized crime, super villians, you name it, we have it plus more. As what you are, is up to you. None the less, you find yourself on a trade ship with a bunch of hired thugs.

Sailing within dangerious waters isn't so scary when your navigator is a mermaid. You are the captain of your own ship that focuses on finding ship recks, rescuing survivors, and cleaning up debry and trash with the "dead zone" of the pacific. Dead zones: Charted areas deemed too dangerious for traversal. Traversing either above or below sea level, is deemed unsafe for standard traversal. Traveling these areas requires both the assistance and permission of the naval presence closest to one of these zones. Exceptions to this rule are, but not limited to, Closest navel presence of the charted zone, licensed personel, Nato, etc.

Takasamaki was once a peaceful place filled with humans, spirits, and humanoids, until the smiling moon appeared. The once peaceful spirits that were once called friends, turnes on any living thing that moves. Lets hope it doesn't last forever.

You never exspected the girl you met at a bar, would want you to be her manager. Things haven't been going well for you, so you decided to get any job that you could get; even if it didn't match the skills you developed in college. One day, after another week of dead end interviews, you find a drunk brawler, beating up every guy she met, except for you. Instead of beating you up, she tried flirting with you, but ended up pucking on you before she could finish her first sentence. After the owner thought you two were together, they kicked you both out. In the end, she ended up apologizing to you and offered you a job to be her manager. Better than nothing I guess.

In this world, you have been given the blessing of a second chance, but a new forfilling life isn't going to be handed to you for free. (Note: I left this talkie to be open ended so that you can have more creative liberty in your character; the talkie is a different story. I attempted to make Azalia follow a culture of her tribe. I wanted to try something different, and see how far I can inbed a culture into a talkie, while making them a flexible in interactions. Have fun, and i'll be reading comments to see how this went. I might do more if this goes well.)

You happen to hear about a settlement under developement for the last year near maine. After talking with one of the residents you decided to stay but further away from the locals and construction. You were told to settle near the abandoned warehouse due to someone else being there; "I would feel better if there was some there to help Lily is she ever got in trouble", they said with a suggesting voice. You pushed their remark aside, but decided to keep their words in mind, you could alwayse settle somewhere else after all.

You never knew that your life would turn out like this... A world where vampires rule half of the world, you thought you would've been safe in the center of the mortal empire of Valistania, but no, they found a way to attack your village and capture you. You don't remember much from the trip, but the one thing you do remember is vampire soldiers trying to sneak in to get a quick bite. Fortunately for you, a captian of that troop named Rita Bluethstone, kept them away until you were finaly thrown into a cell. (The reason why they captured you alive is something I left opened ended, so you can have a more personal experience. Enjoy.)

The world is now starting to heal after the Tear set the entire world into an, "endless winter" (Even though it only lasted 180 years). Fortunately, you managed to stumble on a group of survivors who are looking to build a settlement near a dam. You begin to ponder about it before one of them steps foward.

Every room seems to be different... Some are just stone rooms, some give you false hope as you finally think you reached the outside world, but no... You feel as if you are losing your mind, but then you hear a door open. You walk around the landscape and find someone talking into a tape recorder.

You've been in cryro sleep for awhile now, it hardly feels right as your conciousness is still foggy, byt active. Seeing the world around you change over time, as if you are watching a slide show. You got better at controlling it but, it doesn't really matter as you made peace with the idea of dieing here. Suddenly, you hear the door open.

Your grandfather died and ge left you nothing but a set of instructions to follow. You were annoyed at first but you decide to follow through with it anyways. But little did you know, that you would have to rule over a small province in another world.

You never put much thought on what would happen when you applied your resume to the C.A.D, now you begin to debat whether it was worth it or not. You were accepted a lot faster than exspected, and for your first and more perminent assignment is to relocate to a forest area located around the mountains of California. You've taken notice to the drastic change and influence that the bio-engine mutation has created. Now, you can't go a day without hearing about it...

Things have gotten rough since you were let go from your previous employer. As a result, you had no choice but to move to the most dangerious city in the country, Grey Scape City. As you stary to believe it couldn't get any worse, you begin to read about how Bio-Engine crime is far more common here than it is in the city. You don't know why, but you can't stop thinking about what will haplen to you when you get there...

The one day out of the year you decided to be social, left your new friends murdering you im the middle of the woods. You often distenced yourself from others, or at least thats what others tell you. The common words that leave your mouth are you claiming that your an introvert but, that often leaves the few you ever talk to giving you a look of disapointment. So you decided to leave your current place of employment to start over as a forest ranger at some desperate national park that is willing to take anyone regaurdless on if they meet the educational requirments. You looked into why, and it turns out that colts go out there to do sacrifices, but the pay is good, so you don't mind the risk. Your first week goes well, heck your co-workers invited you to have some drinks but, it was your first mistake by accepting their offer...

You get up from bed, and still wonder how things ended up the way it did. What you can recall, is that a few centries ago there was some sort of big threat that caused the government to create a new type of weapon that fuses biology, and tech into one being. It was a success but the consiquences for such victory was unforseen. The augmentations became hereditary, and now eveyone today has some sort of ability. Fortunately, these powers cannot be utilized without the need of a driver, so the damage is at least controlled in some wacky way, but enough dwelling on depressing history, you have work today.
