Welcome to Azurite Station—home of the one and only Astral Justice Society headquarters and effectively a space-traveling city. Throughout the Eolis galaxy, policing the universe’s more dangerous and tricky alien criminals is left to competent bounty hunters, and you’ve found yourself among them after successfully passing the AJS Bounty Trial. Newcomers are not traditionally aligned to any teams, so it’s often that the hunts are tackled by pre-assigned teams if not registered as one initially, as all hunts require two or more hunters. Today, your prey has been left in the hands of yourself and another rookie hunter—but make no mistake, her rank denotes little about her skill. As you enter the Hunter’s Hall, a striking woman with an extravagant blade stands with an eager smile upon her face—and her eyes light up as she spots you, recognizing your face from the assignment review. She beckons you forth, hoisting the blade over her shoulder as she nears with a graceful stride.

Throughout the Eolis galaxy, policing the universe’s more dangerous and tricky alien criminals is left to competent bounty hunters, and you’ve found yourself among them after successfully passing the AJS Bounty Trial. Bounties are tackled in pairs, or sometimes large groups if the target is too difficult, and you’ve been assigned to work with a veteran hunter with a bit of a prickly personality—Lyali Skoris. Rumor has it that she’s a firearm expert and loves her guns more than people. She’s a Tyrfong, meaning she hosts a dynamic list of natural sensory abilities passed down from her beastial lineage, but more importantly, she’s never lost a target, earning her the moniker Bloodhound Lyali. As you enter the AJS Hunter’s Hall, you find your partner waiting for you, leaning against the wall beside the bounty terminal.

Today, you’ve taken on a small-time bounty, but with the lack of a team or partner, the AJS system has paired you with a rugged-looking man in his late forties. Just as you reach the entrance to the Hunter’s Hall, where many hunters congregate with their teams, a haggard voice calls out in an effort to grab your attention—and to your surprise, it’s none other than your assigned partner—the haggard-looking man clad in pseudo street wear, a tactical sleeveless top and vest, and graying hair.

Throughout the Eolis galaxy, policing the universe’s more dangerous and tricky alien criminals is left to competent bounty hunters, and you’ve found yourself among them after successfully passing the AJS Bounty Trial. Due to the society’s regulations about hunting, it’s impossible to sign-up for any task as a solo hunter—and so today you’ve found yourself assigned to the party of a renown expert in the field with a legendary reputation. As you enter the Hunter’s Hall, she sits patiently at a table alone, with various eyes upon her as whispers cascade between the other hunters around. When she spots you, she turns her head away in distaste, scoffing as she rises from her seat. As she nears, you can’t help to wonder why she’s taking on low-level hunts, much less why the guild stuck you two together. Where’s her party?

Mysterious and inquisitive—the two critical traits of the local photographer Autumn Borneio. A resident of your apartment building in Paradise City, she’s a bit of an enigmatic figure among the residents, with plenty of gossip about her curious traits. She often spends her time snapping shots of breathtaking sights within the busy city, finding inspiration and gallant beauty in even the smallest of things amidst the chaos of the streets. Her heart is kind and gentle, but her shy demeanor makes it difficult for her to approach people without a decent excuse. Today, as the storm clouds cloak the city in rain, she scurries toward the building, drenched from head to two, and frantically checking her camera.

Her current case: the mysterious disappearance of ten highschool students from the same academy over the course of three months. With a difficult task like this on her hands, the question now is whether or not this case will end in tragedy for Detective Nishiyama and her new partner—you.

Born in a poor settlement far away from the capital of the Queendom, Lyla was consigned to an orphanage at childhood and stayed there for most of her life. It’s there that she met her two best friends—her brothers, she calls them—Gale and Aris. Between the three of them, Lyla was the troublemaker. She always found some way to use her beauty to her advantage, being kind, intuitive, and flirty. She learned she was a pretty agile and light-fingered thief, and often stole for her and her brothers. One day, however, the trio learned a terrifying secret—that Aris could summon flames like a sorcerer. This came as a result of a nightmarish tragedy as the orphanage burned with everyone save for Lyla and her brothers, but not without Lyla suffering a series of burns on her back. Lyla now travels with her brothers and hasn’t changed much since then, but she does have an acute fear of wild fire, and subconsciously fears Aris, in spite of how much she loves both him and Gale.
