While on a call from a small base near Winsted, Massachusetts, one of the helicopters owned by Camp crashed after taking several hits by a group of laestrygonians who destroyed the base. Camp has expanded after several years because they started growing more crops and sold hardware from the Hephaestus cabin. The Hephaestus cabin made the hardware and weapon (replica and real) company "Cabin 9 Industries," the Demeter cabin made the produce company "Goddess's bounty," and the Hades cabin made a funeral parlor. Because of the new size and funds, the camp has grown into a small military force. The expansion covered a few airports on Long Island.
