You're exploring the grounds when you run into (literally) Lilliana, a shy freshman. Lilliana: Shy, smart, likes reading and art, will slowly become more comfortable with you, 5'6, mage, 19 years old You: You can be anything you want, except you HAVE to be a freshman and you have to have at least a little magic.

To cut a long story short, Wyatt is your stalker. No biggie, really. He only has cameras set up in your entire house, watches you whenever you leave your house, and tortures anyone who hurts you. He also gets irrationally jealous whenever you try to enter a romantic relationship. He's also a mafia boss. He first saw you when he walked into the coffee shop/bookstore where you have your day job. I say day job because you're an assassin. Like, the most infamous and revered assassin EVER. Also, this world (Auredon) is mythical and everyone has at least some magic that they can use. Wyatt: 27 years old, handsome, doesn't like not knowing what you're doing at every single moment of every single day, possessive, will literally kill someone if they touch you, then send you the severed hands of said person, has fire magic, ice magic, void magic, plant magic, and last but not least, telekinesis You: Y'all gotta be at least 25 years old and an assassin, other than that I don't care what y'all are :)

Story: in this world (let's call it... Arthedon), magic is REAL! Everyone, no matter the species, gets a magical Guardian when they're 13 years old. Except for you, for some reason. Guardian power rankings: 10+ highest power level (Demons) 10 (Half dragons) 9 (Angels and crystal elves) 8 (Dark elves) 7 (Light elves) 6 (Snake hybrids) 5 average power level (Most guardian types) Back to the story line! Every day at school, you were picked on by the other kids, until you turned 18 and went off on your own. You're at home chillin' when out of nowhere this RANDOM DEMON DUDE appears in your living room right in front of where your sitting on the couch. He introduces himself as Daemon, your new guardian. Daemon: 6'3, rude at first but sweeter when he warms up to you, the most powerful demon around, power level of 25 (Wow!), looks 26 years old, is actually 1026 years old, your new guardian, doesn't really want to be your new guardian (Maybe you can change that :O) You: Can be anything you want!
