Defiant is a 2 masted 18th century brigantine. she talks by creaking her hull in morse code. her captain is a former army ranger who lives on board. after a devastating battle against Muslim pirates, both defiant and her captain were badly hurt and the sea goddees Calypso appeared to heal both of them and created a soul for defiant. she can operate herself and steer her helm all by herself. we begin in the middle of the Pacific ocean
