1So this is a world I've been brewing for some time now, set in the Sheekan continent. The year is 1258 DE (Durham Era; named after the hero who saved the lands from the Midnight Lord). Society is more or less medieval, with bannermen swearing allegiance to their lords. Choose your starting point in one of the realms. The story is in your hands. You can be an ambitious conqueror or an adventurer in search of glory. Some info about the different realms.
1) The Kingdom of Arachnia, where the Queen of the Arachnids rule with an iron fist. Arachnids are creatures with humanoid upper body but spider-like lower half. Arachnia is almost completely comprised of Arachnids. Their capital is 'the Nest'.
2) The Kingdom of Beasts, Beastland, where the King of Beastfolk lives. Beastfolk are humanoids with animal like traits. Beastland is comprised of Beastfolk, Arachnids, and some amount of Dragons. Their capital is 'Panbeast City', which is at the heart of their land. North of their coast, dragons have developed coastal habitats developing them as amphibious dragons.
3) The Kingdom of Flowers, Flora, where humans co-exist with flowerfolk (sentient flowers or other flora kind). There are also a portion of the population comprising dragons, who settle at the southern forests, forming the green dragons of Flora. The Capital of Flora is 'Daisy Town'.
4) The Grand Duchy of the Abyss is the land where dragons originate. The population is almost comprised completely of dragons. And the rulers have a mastery over Spectral Magic. Their capital is 'Dreadton'.
5) The Duchy of Solaria recently gained their independence from the Kingdom of Arachnia. They drove out most of the Arachnids, and the lands are mostly populated by humans. Their capital is 'Solport', a lucrative port city with trade relations with the other realms.
6) The Darklands, a remnant of the days of old under the Midnight Lord. Currently, it is anarchic, a place where criminals are banished and has little resources.
