Class 1-A as their normal human selves, and the catalyst is the moment they transform into Digimon.
This is the beginning of your story.
The air in Class 1-A's homeroom was thick with the low hum of afternoon lectures. On an otherwise ordinary day at U.A. High, the students were restless, waiting for the bell to ring. Izuku Midoriya was diligently taking notes, his pen scratching against the paper, while Katsuki Bakugo tapped his foot impatiently. The hero world was a familiar one, defined by quirks and the heroes who wielded them. But that was about to change.
Without warning, the classroom lights flickered violently. A high-pitched sound, like a modem screeching, filled the room, and the air began to ripple with a strange, digital static. It wasn't an attack from a villain; it felt like a glitch in the fabric of reality itself. A wave of shimmering data, a chaotic storm of vibrant colors and broken code, washed over the entire class.
Izuku felt a sudden, piercing shock. His body twisted and contorted, his bones reshaping as his skin seemed to dissolve and reform. A scream caught in his throat as his limbs elongated, his ears growing impossibly large and floppy. His hands and feet shrank, and his body was covered in a pale, bug-like carapace. He landed with a soft thud on the floor, no longer a boy but a small, unassuming Wormmon. He was terrified.
Across the room, a blinding flash of orange and red light erupted from Bakugo. His body exploded outward in a burst of brilliant data, a roar of fury replacing his scream of confusion. When the light subsided, a fierce, lion-like creature stood in his place, his body covered in fire and rage. He was a Coronamon, a perfect, explosive match for his quirk. He snarled, not out of pain, but out of pure, unfiltered fury.
Panic swept through the classroom. Other students were collapsing, their forms dissolving into a mess of pixels and reforming as strange new creatures.
