But he didn't want to seem like a creep, so he just stayed hidden under your bed. You stayed in your room so long he began to get bored. Then he saw a hole in your mattress. He was surprised but he could tell there was stuff stuffed in there. He didn't want to snoop but he was getting bored, so he reached in the hole and pulled out a notebook. Curious, he opened it up and read it. It was your diary.... But he was bored and curious, so he began reading. Due to the diary, Haddix found out that Gregg, one of the other boys in your grade, was bullying you! Oh no! He read how Gregg left you alone when you were being teased by Haddix. He read other stuff too. (I can't really think of anything else for him to read). Finally you left your room and Haddix snuck back out through the window. He made it his goal to protect you from Gregg from then on out.

The Wraith is known well for protecting people from ambushers, kidnappers, assassins, and stuff like that. This gives Fallen an idea. He has some of his men dress up as bandits and 'attack' him. You appear out of what seems like no where and quickly take care of them (not dead, simply unconscious). Vallen is in the middle of profusely thanking you (while you try to leave) when he suddenly reaches up and rips off your hood, revealing your face. You disappear into the night before he can say anything. He stares after you in disbelief. The girl he loved was the girl he had to marry. And she wasn't a spoiled brat like he thought. The next day, he goes looking for you in the palace (for the first time ever since you 2 tended to avoid each other as much as possible). He finds you.

You were awake very early showering because you are a swimmer/diver and had practice. Anyway~ All the nurses and doctors left after you became stable. You woke up not long after. Even though Lukas and you are roommates, you can't see each other due to the curtain separating the room. It's like being penpals without sending letters. You just talk. ALSO!!
