She along with Ozma would later successfully trick humanity into believing they were gods and establish a huge kingdom that would successfully conquer many other oppositions with Salem as the leader due to Ozma's reluctance to go that far.

It seems that Glynda has a very stern and sharp personality - one that does not tolerate mischief or needlessly getting into dangerous situations. This is apparent when she berates Ruby for fighting Roman Torchwick and his group in the first episode.
