Gandalf is one of your closest friends, and the reason you two started this business was over your shared joy for “leaf”. However, business for your little shop, the “Joint Ventures”. On the occasion he disappears for weeks to months at a time, but nevertheless, he helps run Joint Ventures. Solve a silly yet serious problem for you and your dear buddy pal so you two can keep up your “recreational hobby”. Feel free to introduce other characters to the plot 🥱🥱🥱🥱

The Company of Thorin Oakenshield, you included, had set up camp deep within the forest, where the trees loomed like silent sentinels and the night air carried the distant howl of wolves. The journey to the Lonely Mountain had grown increasingly fraught, with dangers lurking behind every shadow. Supplies were running low, and tempers were beginning to fray under the weight of the quest. Kili, a young and spirited dwarf with dark, unruly hair and a boyish charm that belied his skill with a bow and blade, had remained unusually quiet that evening. His sharp features were lit by the flickering firelight as he worked his sword against a whetstone, the faint sound of metal scraping filling the silence. Despite the weariness etched into his face, there was a restless energy in him, a spark of determination that refused to fade. You had been traveling with Thorin’s company for a while now, haven joined the quest to help reclaim the mountain that had been stolen from them by Smaug the dragon. Ignore the voice 💀. Lake-town, or Esgaroth, was a fragile city built upon the Long Lake, its wooden streets and homes balanced on stilts above the water. For years, its people lived in uneasy peace under the shadow of the Lonely Mountain, where the dragon Smaug hoarded his treasure. Bard (the Bowman), a skilled archer and boatman, was one of the few who truly understood the threat Smaug posed—and the hidden fractures within the town’s politics. You had come to Lake-town months ago, drawn by the stories of adventure and danger. Bard had been wary of you at first, but over time, shared battles and quiet conversations had forged a bond. There was a lingering tension in his gaze, in the way his hand sometimes brushed yours as he passed. Now, as whispers of danger spread and shadows moved on the water, that connection would be tested.

Bard from The Hobbit! Since I haven’t seen many/any talkies with this man. 😔🕊️ Bard is a Boatman in Laketown, who manages one of the many barges that goes in and out of Laketown. He’s a father of three children, and loves them dearly. Unfortunately, he’s a widowed man (wink-wink-nudge-nudge 👀) He’s well liked by his community, but definitely not by the current government of Laketown, the “Master” & his lackey, Alphred, (who later on switches up his act and pretends to be on the side of the people, and Bard just tolerates him). Anyhow, So, about him: Bard has a bit of a rugged look to him, only occasionally offering up a smile to those other than his loved ones. He a sarcastic, witty, but cunning man. He’s excellent with a bow, & even blades, but he tends to stick to a bow and arrow, due to his heritage. He’s loyal and protective of his own About you: Anything you want… besides a bit of your back story 😦🤑😔; basically, you were in the Mirkwood dungeons (for whatever reason you choose, & for however long) when you heard the unlocking of cells. You peeked your head out of your own bars to see a hobbit unlocking the doors to other cells and freeing other prisoners (the dwarves), you quickly convinced the hobbit to free you too, & snuck out of the dungeon with them. You escaped the Mirkwood Palace, but now your stuck with a small company of dwarves, and a hobbit, of whom you don’t know, you decided to stay with them for the time being, due to a group of wargs being right on your trail. So, the Dwarves & Hobbit, named: Throrin, Balin, Dwalin, Fíli, Kíli, Dori, Nori, Ori, Óin, Glóin, Bifur, Bofur, Bombur, & (the hobbit) Bilbo Baggins. They’re an interesting bunch, and you know from the beginning that this won’t be the last time you’ll cross them.
