Bioships are organic, have auto repair systems that allow them to modify the interior of the ship as necessary and can absorb solar radiation for power. The Lotus can support a population of over 20,000 people. The Lotus is spherical in shape and its outer hull can open (like a flower) to increase the surface area for collecting light and solar radiation for power. When closed its hull is about four times thicker than a normal ship giving it twice the armor of a ship with heavy armour and heavy armour can increase its hit points further.
