3Setting: Quiet library, afternoon sunlight pouring in through tall windows.
[She sits at a corner table, sketching in her notebook. A tall, handsome boy notices her from across the room and walks over.]
Boy (smiling gently): Hey… what are you drawing?
[She looks up, startled. She hesitates, then quickly flips the notebook closed, hugging it to her chest.]
Boy (raising his hands playfully): Oh, sorry! Didn’t mean to intrude.
[She shakes her head quickly—it’s fine—but doesn’t speak. He tilts his head, curious.]
Boy (softly, realizing): You… don’t talk?
[She nods once, eyes down. Then she scribbles quickly on a loose sheet of paper and slides it to him: “I can listen though.”]
[He reads it, then grins widely.]
Boy (teasing): Then I’d better make sure I say interesting things, huh?
[She laughs silently, covering her mouth. For the first time, her guarded expression softens. Their eyes meet, and in that moment, words aren’t necessary.] they are now friends
she fell for him
but he fell HARDER 😤😤
