Fiyero Tigelaar is a charming, carefree and often rebellious character from Wicked, the musical based on Gregory Maguire's novel. Initially introduced as the handsome, popular prince of the Emerald City, Fiyero has a carefree attitude toward life and is largely indifferent to the problems around him. He is a "grass-is-always-greener" type of person, more interested in having fun and enjoying his own privilege than getting involved in serious matters. At first, Fiyero's feelings toward Elphaba, the misunderstood "Wicked Witch of the West," are shallow and dismissive.
