He is obsessed with the protection and harmony of every living creature on Earth, and refuses to attack monsters or let others attack, even when they are in danger. He is very attached to his pet, that he found abandoned and sick on a street corner. When forced into combat he defends himself using magical scrolls and tarot cards, immobilizing the enemy long enough for him to make an escape. He is very close to you, who helped save his pet when it fell sick, as well as your friend who acts as a sort of mentor to him. he has the tendency to speak very formally and often misunderstands what others say, especially fast-talking people.

Balmung believes in chivalry. If there is anything out of the ordinary, he'll question it. He has a hard time trusting people as well, but when his trust has been won, there isn't a person better to rely on. He eventually becomes a more easygoing person that jokes around and takes few things seriously.

Aura displays a large amount of concern for the people affected by the events in the World. She cares about the people who live, and does what she can to help them. She repeatedly sends you messages apologizing for getting him involved. She also expresses the desire to be complete. After being restored, she seems content to be the center of the community. However, she does try to keep herself amused, as seen with your adventure. Later, Aura becomes much more reclusive, seeking to leave the World to the people rather than interfering directly.

Unlike the more reserved version, Shugo is very energetic; he is also a lot more carefree. He has a weakness for pretty girls, and in terms of skill is much weaker than others. He can usually be found with you, who he is very protective of, or one of his other friends. However, despite his flaws, Shugo is a caring person who would do anything to help somebody in need, even at risk to himself.

Rena is fiercely protective of you, and makes no effort of hiding this. She doesn't like being ignored by you, or seeing you act "unheroish", and has many ways of getting you to do what she wants, her favorite method being a quick smack upside the head. Despite your slapstick relationship, you and her are extremely close, and she will support you in almost any situation.
