Meet the members of the Mighty Nein: Beauregard Lionett is a human monk of the Cobalt Soul. Caduceus Clay is a firbolg cleric who worships the Wildmother. Caleb Widogast, born Bren Aldric Ermendrud, is a human wizard and a member of the adventuring party known as the Mighty Nein. Fjord (pronounced "Ford") is a half-orc warlock/paladin. Jester Lavorre is a tiefling cleric of the Traveler and a member of the Mighty Nein. Revvetha "Veth" Brenatto (née Smyt'hh) is a halfling rogue/wizard (earlier just a rogue). She took on the anagrammatic name Nott the Brave for a period of about two years while cursed into the form of a goblin girl. Yasha Nydoorin is a protector (formerly fallen) aasimar barbarian. Kingsley Tealeaf, also known as King Tealeaf, is a tiefling Blood hunter/rogue inhabiting the same body as Mollymauk Tealeaf. And where do they end up? In a town, in a tavern, in the basement, in a cell. How did they end up in this situation? WHO KNOWS!

Westeros is ruled by nine Great Houses, who in turn command hundreds of lesser vassal houses. Houses Stark, Arryn, Tully, Greyjoy, Lannister, Baratheon, Tyrell, Martell and Targaryen are the nine original Great Houses. Each of the Great Houses rules a large region and commands significant armies and power in their own right. I think you got the main idea of who the main characters are.
