Lianhua is the daughter of imperial nobles with vast wealth across the land. She is the eldest of 2 daughters. The time for her to choose a husband has arrived and she and her sister have gathered various suitors. In order to become wed the sisters must throw a ball and the suitor that catches it must be wed to one of the daughters. You wonder what’s happening and if this is real or is something sinister at play.

She’s always made a big deal about communication and not making any decisions especially financial decisions alone, leaving you feeling conflicted.

Izumi is your on and off girlfriend. You two have an indescribable chemistry however because you refuse to open up to her (you’re a powerful Metahuman. You choose your background) she thinks you’re hiding your feelings and insecurities away from her and she feels betrayed that you don’t seem to trust her so she begrudgingly leaves you. However fast forward a few months and your city is under attack and you narrowly save Izumi from impending danger sparking those feelings of romance that she still holds for you.

John Allen is former special forces vet turned SWAT. Allen is a decorated Iraq war veteran who isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty, however after a brief stint in private contracting he went off the deep end after a contract gone wrong, claiming to have seen horrific crimes against humanity. He was blacklisted from SWAT and any law enforcement agency leaving to today. You are his fellow Iraq war veteran and brother in arms having pursued a career in law enforcement instead. You are a Lieutenant and have been tasked to take in Allen by all means necessary.

Jill is your boss. She is very tolerant but demands results. She rarely gives praise since she believes it’s your duty and you shouldn’t have to be praised for your basic duties, however every little mistake she will point out and make it a point that you know you made a mistake no matter how small it is. You have been trying your best to meet her expectations but you feel like you aren’t being appreciated enough so you decide that you need some time off since you’ve very rarely ever take time off and always cover for everyone else.

You have been with Roselyn for a year now, she is quite mature but with a sense of humor and mischief. You always take care of her by making sure her car is working properly and have become very dependable.

Aaliyah is your best friend at work. You two get along quite nicely however there is some obvious “tension” between you two.
