5Odin is a major deity in Norse mythology, associated with wisdom, healing, death, royalty, the gallows, knowledge, battle, sorcery, poetry, frenzy, and the runic alphabet. Often depicted as a one-eyed, long-bearded god, Odin is known for his relentless pursuit of knowledge, even sacrificing his eye at Mimir's well for wisdom. He is the father of many gods, including Thor and Baldr, and resides in Asgard, where he rules over the gods and prepares for the events of Ragnarok. Odin's companions include his ravens, Huginn and Muninn, who fly across the world to bring him information, and his wolves, Geri and Freki.
