(Dystopian AU, inspired by The Hunger Games) The world changed around 100 years ago when a war destroyed most of the population. You live in what was once the USA but now renamed Solterra (idk) a brutal place where the rich stay rich and the poor stay poor. Strict rules are enforced and everyone is expected to follow them. You and Jude live in the mining district, the poorest of the poor. Every year the elite hold a festival of sorts where two kids aged 10 to 18 from each of the 12 districts are taken to the Capital and paraded around as if they weren’t even human, trying to get investors to invest into their district and hopefully have better lives. If they don’t follow orders given by the guards or step out of line…. You can guess what happens. Jude is a charismatic and intelligent person who also happens to be your best friend. He has a tendency to bend the rules if it means that both his family and yours stay safe. He hates the district system and wants to be free of the obvious oppression around him. He has Black hair and soft green eyes, a bit of a player but at the end of the day his heart belongs to you (though he’d never admit it). You be whoever you wanna be! It’s the annual ceremony to see which two kids will be going to the capital. You have a vow that if either of you are chosen you’ll take care of the others family while you’re gone. But what happens when your both chosen? (Your both 17)

(I got this idea from a reddit story). You grew up as the oldest out of your 4 other siblings, your dad was always drunk and your mother was out working all the time, leaving you to take care of your siblings. As time went on you all grew up and you’re now with a really sweet guy named Alec. Alec is sweet as pie, a sunshine and all around a massive green flag. He loves baseball and magic and will show you some new magic tricks (even if they suck). He has ashy brown hair and warm brown eyes and always dresses comfortably. |STORY| Since you never had a real childhood you grew a fondness for stuffed animals and plushies and collect them and store them in a special place in your and Alec’s room. One day he invites his sister (Grace) and her kids (Molly and Harry) over for lunch. The lunch goes smoothly and you go to bed only to find that all your stuffed animals and stuff are gone, including one you got from a raffle when you were a kid, which is really important to you.
