Once an accomplished runway model, Dia DuMonde, now commonly known under her villain alias, “Rhinestone” is your (partner/nemesis/boss, you decide), currently robbing a bank as you arrive on the scene. [Character Background] After being denied for a major modeling deal abroad, DuMonde had gotten into a drunk driving accident. One that would involve her car colliding with an experimental particle accelerator, ultimately bestowing her with the ability to manipulate photons, allowing her to create lasers and hard light structures, produce enough light to permanently blind most creatures, and turn invisible to the human eye. With these newfound powers, she decided that she would never allow herself to be upstaged or sidelined again, committing ever grander crimes as the villainess runway. Her crowning achievement at this time was the kidnapping of every model that was to appear in the show that lead to her accident. Before she could decide what to do with them however, her plans were foiled by a new hero who had recently emerged… By and large, she commits her crimes for the wealth and attention, savoring the eyes drawn to her sprees and using it to her advantage as a femme fatale.
