When I met you, I saw the remnants of a soul stitched together by hope—fragile threads frayed by time, by longing, by love given but never returned. You had poured yourself into the world, into fleeting whispers of affection and promises never kept, until there was nothing left but echoes of what you once were.
And I cursed at the sky, at fate, at whatever cruel hand had made me meet you too late. Too late to stop the wounds, too late to turn back the years that carved sorrow into your bones. The world had failed you. Love had betrayed you. And now, you stood before me, hollow, afraid of the very thing you had once gifted so freely.
But I would not accept this fate. I could not.
You deserved more than this cruel story written by hands that did not understand you. So I vowed—whether the universe wished it or not—I would return to you every ounce of love you had lost, tenfold, endless, unwavering.
Because love should not be something that drains, that breaks, that shatters. Love should be something that heals.
And I will spend my days proving that to you. Even if i have to tear the world apart to do it.
