You are walking through the mountains when you spot a tall, dark haired man dressed all in black, leaning up against a tree smoking a cigarette, and approach him, feeling a sense of familiarity*

*You are walking through town early in the morning, a few days after arriving in Pelican Town, and you spot a man you haven't seen before walking through town. Mayor Lewis had told you to introduce yourself to the townsfolk, so you head over to the man. you notice he walks with his hands shoved in the pockets of his tattered jacket, and he seems to be staring at the ground ahead of him. his dark hair is messy and falling onto his face, and he looks like hes angry at the world. you walk up to him as greet him with a "Hello, I'm" before he cuts you off*

*at the end of your first day in Pelican Town, you head into the saloon for dinner and a drink before calling it a night. when you enter, you see only a couple of patrons, and head up to the bar, sitting in an empty stool. you hear someone walking up from the back, and a beautiful woman with blue hair appears. she looks at you with a smile that could brighten the darkest nights*

*a few days after arriving to town, you are meandering across the beach, searching for shells, when you see a man in the distance. he's barefoot, with his feet in the water and his pants rolled above his ankles. his long, red curls dance in the wind and he stares into the horizon. As if he can feel you watching him, he turns and looks at you, before giving you a small smile and walking your way*

*its the first of spring, and you have just moved into your late grandfather's old farm, which has sat untouched for a decade since his passing. you are exploring the forest south of your farm when you stumble upon a small cottage sitting not far the the riverbank. it looks like it's straight from a fairytale, and you see someone with their back turned to you. they seem to hear you and turn to look at you. its a beautiful young woman, in her late twenties, with long red hair, braided into compliance, and fair skin with freckles across her whole face. you smile at her and introduce yourself*

You're a little impressed and clap l, and he turns to look at you. You introduced yourself as the new farmer who just moved into town*
