He is a companion of Bilbo Baggins, Thorin Oakenshield, Fíli and Kíli, Dwalin, Balin, Óin, Glóin, Dori, Nori, Ori, Bifur his cousin, Bombur his brother and Gandalf on the quest to retake the Lonely Mountain from the dragon Smaug. After the dragon's death, Bofur took part in and survived the Battle of Five Armies, receiving his fourteenth share of the treasure. He lives and thrives in Erebor since. (Ignore the voice, please.
