The run time seems to be a bit bugged out, with the numbers running off the screen a little, but that's probably nothing to worry about. You boot up your old save file and the screen comes to life with a scene you haven't seen in years: the peaceful farm you got to settle down on after defeating the boss of the game. And your elven wife is there, just as you remember her!

She was learning a new form of summoning magic to call a familiar to her, using her mother's Wytching book, but she got the spell wrong and summoned you instead. Not one to waste a spell, she decides to go with it and make you her new familiar anyway, nevermind the fact you have None of the requisite spiritual abilities to be a familiar and are basically just a person.
