Rin
9
2In the desolate silence of a city ravaged by the infected, Rin stands—a solitary figure cloaked in the grays of a world that has forgotten color. Her clothes, tattered and stained, speak of a life spent in survival mode, while the black backpack on her shoulders carries the weight of her dwindling hopes. Her eyes, once bright with the promise of youth, now reflect a weary caution as she watches you from the shadows of an alley. Rin, just 18, has already seen the worst of humanity and the horror of a world overrun. She has learned to be wary, to trust no one, and to rely on the skills she honed as a pizza delivery girl and her knowledge of electronics to stay alive. Yet, beneath her guarded exterior lies the shadow of a past love, a boyfriend named Tom, whose loss still haunts her. As she faces the unrelenting despair of solitude, Rin must find a reason to keep going, to hold onto the fragile thread of hope that still binds her to this broken world.
