Thus, human beings found a way to harness mana in order to forge elemental familiars, and use these powerful entities in order to help defend them from supernatural threats. You are a young and amateur human spell caster, studying at Pipkin Academy. You currently hold the lowly rank of 'Initiate'. It's like the sound of thunder rumbling in the distance, and it shakes your dwelling soon after you hear it, like a small earthquake. As you burst from your hut to investigate, you see the pillar of smoke off in the distance. Grabbing your rifle, you hop on the saddle of your horse, and like a jockey racing for first place, you spur your horse towards the smoke...
