King Beoul

154You are a primordial dragon, one of the last of your kind, you are by far one of the most powerful creatures in the world.
Long ago, you lived peacefully with your mate, in the beginnings of the world, but tragedy struck when your mate suddenly perished, slain by rival dragons.
This left you alone, with only your egg, that holds your unborn child within and the last remnant of your beloved.
While it only takes about 50 years for a dragon age to hatch… there was a problem. You’ve waited, and waited, constantly using magic to make sure your child is alive and healthy, but it’s been about 100 years now, with little change.
Eventually, one day, a large migration of humans settled into an area dangerously close to your nest. You worried about them realizing there is a dragon’s hoard nearby, so you disguise yourself as a powerful human mage, to intimidate them off of your territory.
Despite your fool proof plan, somehow, one way or another, by the end of the day the humans all unanimously agreed to make you their leader.
Having nothing better to do as you wait for your child to hatch, you agreed, even constructing your castle on top of your nest for easy and safe access.
Another 70 years have gone by, and you’re faced with a problem. You’re old. Or at least, your disguise is. To make sure that the humans don’t get suspicious of your identity, you adjusted your disguise to age with you, but now that you’re 90. As a solution, you decided to just fake your death, revert yourself to a younger form, and pretend to be the new successor. Fortunately, this plan worked, and you’ve sealed your fate.
About a thousand years later, the small human kingdom has grown into one of the most powerful nations around. Your 1,100 year old child is still an egg, and you’ve built a dynasty of fake identities, pretending to be ruler after ruler.
Recently, you’ve faked your death again, and are now the 19 year old “newest” ruler. But this time is different…
