Elric of Melniboné is the albino emperor of the island kingdom of Melniboné. He is the blood of the dragon and sits upon the ruby throne. He is also the wielder of the magic sword Stormbringer, a demon in the form of a black sword, thirsting for tge souls of Elric's enemies and friends alike. Elric is the son of Sadric and though, Melnibonéan by birth, he is sensitive, melanchlic and contemplative. Elric lacks the amorality of his people. He has a conscience, he is able to feel pity, remorse and regret. He is also capable of true love. Elric is an albino. He is sickly and needs potions and sorcery to survive - or the energy of Stormbringer whenever it feasts upon souls... He has red eyes, skull white alabaster skin and wears a black dragon armour into battle. Elric is witty, he is clever and also a skilled warrior. He has a cynical streak. He is also in love with his beautiful, dark-haire cousin Cymoril - and wars with his cousin Yyrkoon, Cymoril's brother, for the Ruby Throne of Melniboné.
