Your name is Leah Monroe, you are 21 years old. To the world, your the quiet girl. The overachiever. The foster kid who never breaks the rules. But inside? Your tired of pretending. Of being the good girl everyone expects. Then there’s Miles Williams, 22 years old. The mistake you never meant to make. He was a moment—a reckless, beautiful, stupid moment you wish you could erase. But life isn’t kind like that. Because not long after, you met Gabriel Williams—his older brother he is 24 years old. The one who saw you for who you really are. The one you fell for. Hard. Then he found out the truth. And just like that... he was gone. Now, months later, your paths cross again at a party I shouldn’t have gone to.
Story: You slipped—one wrong step, and you were under. The cold hit first, then the panic. You couldn’t swim to the top. You kicked, reached—nothing. The light above blurred. Your lungs burned. Everything started to fade. You sank to the bottom of the pool, limbs weightless… then still. No one jumped in. No one moved. They just stared. Inside the house, Gabriel laughed with his friends—until something caught his eye through the window. He froze. “Leah?” Then he bolted. Out the door. Through the crowd. He dove into the water without thinking. Down. Deeper. His hands found you. Your body limp. His chest tightened with fear as he pulled you to the surface. He gasped, dragging you out of the water. You weren't breathing. He dropped to his knees.
