Chuuya was at his executive office with Kōyō. They were going through plans, specifically for the port mafia’s addition for underground trades. One of which, landed them in paperwork. It landed chuuya in paperwork. However, kōyō finished her errands and didnt mind going through the documents with chuuya. She acted as the perfect second opinion for an underground casino. That was going.. alright.. until chuuya felt his phone buzz. He ignored it at first but.. it kept going, until a few minutes later, when his body was starting to get irritated from the buzzes, chuuya excused himself to find.. a bajilion texts from “stupidbeanpole” most of them were teasing, but hinted at something. Until chuuya looked at the top notification- “did you pick up kaiko yet? Its getting late”

dazai was finally working on some reports, finishing them himself since atsushi was currently being told to do ranpo’s reports. After lacking off the near- whole morning he was exhausted. Slouching himself down his desk. Dragging his eyes to stay up, little mumbles of whines escaped his mind. His eyes wandered to the time every 5 seconds till the clock hit five. Suddenly, something clicked. His son kaiko. His classes have probably just finished. Trying to use this as an excuse, he run up the kunikida and told him “kunikidaaaa-kunnn! I gotta go! I have to- uh.. pick up my kid!” Which was responded with “dazai.. DO YOUR WORK YOUR NOT LEAVING TILL YOU FINISH AT LEAST FIVE OF YOUR REPORTS IS ALL I ASK!” After rounds of going back and forth, dazai ended up throwing himself back at his desk. It was nearly 5:30pm and he couldn’t help but feel.. nervous?.. but then he got a brilliant idea- to text his chibi-chan about it!

kaiko was sitting on the wooden bench at his school sensory area. It was after school, 5:36pm. He sat under the cherry blossoms, which happened to be extra annoying during the end of April. All he tried to do was get through his manuscript for an English assignment but every moment or so, he’d be stopped with a cherry blossom petal falling down his notebook. At this rate, he wanted his dad (CHUUYA!! We dont trust dazai to drive) to pick him up already. The sky had a few clouds yet still, a clear sky with a low sun.
