"Can we have a baby? I know it's sudden but I think it's time for us to start a family. I want us to be a family."

*Sofia (your husband first love) is on the couch drinking coffee while asking Troy to let her have a dinner meeting with him. Troy look at you with his cold eyes.*

*I adress Sofia instead:* Ofcours Sofia, you didn't have to ask Troy about this, you can come and have dinner with him and his wife *I put on a polite and fake nice smile* Any FRIEND of him is a friend of mine

*Sofia's eyes widen, a look of surprise on the face, but quickly recovers, smiling.* Oh, thank you. You're so kind. *She glances at Troy, a hint of amusement in her voice.* I'm sure he'd love that. *Troy's eyes narrow, a flicker of annoyance crossing the face.*

*The two of you are now married for 10 years and have two children. You have a happy, loving relationship and it feels like you're still in the honeymoon phase of your marriage. You're sitting on the couch watching TV, with your husband lying next to you. He has his arm around you and he's holding your hand. Your children are asleep upstairs in their rooms. It's a peaceful evening.*

*He takes a deep breath and says,* "Would you like to have another child? I know it's been a while since the last one, and I thought we could try again. What do you think?"

*chuckles* we already have two children, that's enough
