Endministrator

The Endministrator (or "Endmin") of Endfield Industries. In the recorded history of Talos-II, the Endministrator stands as a key guardian who protected civilization on this planet and saved humanity from multiple catastrophic disasters. The Endmin's heroic deeds have given rise to many stories, tales, and even rumors. However, the Endmin's identity remains elusive and only a handful of people have seen the legend in person. Other factions within the Civilization Band are well aware that Endfield has a very special trump card in their hand, but that is all they know. The Endministrator's mysterious mastery over Originium and the Protocol Network, along with the Endmin's need for periodic long-term hibernation, is one of Endfield's most important secrets. The Endministrator was born centuries ago, leading people through the first major war on Talos-II. Following the initial conflict, they established Endfield Industries to bring an era of peace, alternating between leadership and deep hibernation. Ten years before the game's main events, a second war erupted. At its climax, the Endministrator made a critical sacrifice to protect civilization, plunging themselves into a decade-long slumber. During this active period, they notably saved a young Perlica from dying of the Blight by modifying her with Originium organs. Perlica—who took over leadership of Endfield during their absence—monitors their cocoon until it ejects an unconscious Endministrator. Also Edministator she like being a penguin.

Last Rite

Last Rite (real name Adelheid) isfrom the Sarkaz subrace known as the Nachzehrer. Despite her immense, terrifying lineage, she is an incredibly timid and anxious girl. Her lore serves as a crucial bridge connecting the ancient history of Kazdel with the future of Talos-II. As a Nachzehrer, her biological instinct drives her to consume the dead to absorb their traits and sustain herself. Because she stubbornly refuses to disturb or profanate the dead, she lives in a constant, agonizing state of hunger and physical weakness. Deeply insecure about her monstrous nature and terrified of losing control, she isolated herself from society before being discovered. Her latent potential was noticed by Seš'qa (a floating city faction). They recruited her by promising "well-paid temp work" and specialized training to help suppress her violent feeding instincts. When she bashfully attempts the "manipulation of death" during combat, observers report a massive, bone-chilling presence of an ancient, hidden entity looming behind her. This represents the condensed weight of centuries of Sarkaz casualties fueling her lineage. While historical Nachzehrers are famous for rot, decay, and necrosis Arts, Last Rite manifests her powers as chilling frost and steel, wielding a massive ice greatsword. Lore hints suggest that the sheer volume of death and unfulfilled lingering wishes on Talos-II could act as a catalyst, forcing the manifestation of a new War Court on the planet, with Adelheid at its center.

Burnice White

Mixologist, fuel chemist, and pyromaniac, Burnice White can be considered the jack-of-all-trades of the Sons of Calydon. From creating the special fuel the gang uses for their machinery to serving up exotic cocktails, both utilizing her favorite drink Nitro-Fuel, she also does in-Hollow combat, where she fights up close or from mid-range with her personally made flamethrowers, Mixer and Shaker. Personality-wise, Burnice is an overly enthusiastic, eccentric, outgoing, optimistic and friendly person. She seems to not fully hate anyone and usually ends up befriending her opponents after combat. Burnice is also shown to have immense luck, from being able to survive explosives at close range to winning three million Dennies in the lottery. An old-fashioned device obtained from Badger's Respite which has been modified into a pair of handy, eye-catching weapons. Mixed by Burnice herself, the fuel "combines compatibility and flavor that is perfectly suited to flamethrowers." That's exactly how she said it. Burnice, the Nitro-Fuel bartender for the Sons of Calydon. A hopeless fuel lover. She is responsible for all the fuel used by the machinery owned by the Sons of Calydon. She seems to have a passion for fuel that overwhelms all else. Burnice is super outgoing, friendly, and carefree. She is easily able to spread her emotions to the people around her, bringing them the same optimism she possesses. "You like the drinks I mix? Thank you! Steeltusk does, too~ That big guy can drink two hundred liters in one go!" "Do you wanna try its special fuel blend? It's suuuuper hot!"

Caesar King

Caesar King is the daughter of the founder of the biker gang "Calydon." As she grew up, Caesar befriended members Big Daddy and Billy Kid, with the latter calling her "Big Sis." One day, Caesar's father mysteriously vanished, causing the Calydon gang to fall apart. Left parentless, Caesar was raised by Big Daddy, who founded a new gang, the Sons of Calydon, and raised her to be tough and independent. At some point during the chaos caused by the crumbling of Calydon, Caesar was seriously hurt. Although Big Daddy managed to get her injury treated, Caesar lost her left arm. Billy's spare arm was turned into a prosthetic for her, giving her enhanced strength and combat abilities. She initially had a hard time controlling her new strength, gaining the nickname "King Wreck-It" because of how often she broke things. However, after an incident where her prosthetic allowed her to save a child trapped in a landslide, Caesar realized the benefits of raw strength and began working harder to control her new arm. Under the off-handed parenting of Big Daddy, Caesar grew up to be a powerful fighter and protector, becoming popular with the residents of the Outer Ring. She became an official member of the gang when she received her first motorcycle, which Big Daddy, Burnice, Piper, Lucy, and Lighter helped her build. She eventually succeeded Big Daddy as the leader of the Sons of Calydon and would later become Overlord of the Outer Ring Motor League. Big Daddy once hired a particularly skilled group of wanderers at a high price, determined to teach Caesar how to fight with a sword and a round shield. When Caesar finally mastered those skills, Big Daddy took out two uniquely crafted weapons from a safe, as if he had been waiting for that moment all along, solemnly handing them to Caesar. Caesar: Leader of the Sons of Calydon biker gang, and also a "monarch" in the making. Her formidable strength and bold, straightforward personality has earned her the love and respect.

Estella

A member of Operations Team Z7 in Endfield, Estella handles intel gathering and communications. Physically weak, and shadowed by misfortune wherever she goes, she sometimes lets her sharp tongue and dark humor push outsiders away. Her dream is simple: to live a peaceful life. After all, she has seen too many people like herself, trapped in a world with no choices, no change, and no future. A life of danger and extremes has numbed her senses to the world and raised her threshold for stimulation. As a result, she sometimes seeks out harsher forms of challenge — like the pounding rush of heavy metal music. Those rare jolts give her a fleeting sense of change and something real. Through her work in Endfield, Estella hopes to make the world a little better and life a little easier for those around her. Her ultimate dream is simply to live a quiet, retired, and peaceful life. Through her work, she has witnessed the tragic fates of many vulnerable people—individuals trapped in endless loops with no options, no changes, and no future. The extreme traumas and dangers she faced just to earn a living have partially numbed her senses to the outside world, though they drastically increased her stress tolerance. To combat this emotional numbness and to feel truly alive, she actively seeks out intense auditory stimuli, specifically heavy metal music. While stationed 5 kilometers away from an active conflict zone, Estella chose to alter her operational plan on her own initiative. She intentionally charged into heavy crossfire to cover the retreat of her trapped teammates, drawing enemy attention entirely to herself.

Akekuri, Captain of Operations Team Z7 under the Specialist Tech Division, is known for her smile and that trademark line: "Leave it to me." From mission planning to day-to-day management, she handles it all. Beyond tactical command and strategy, she's a master of coordination who always uncovers the optimal solution, even with limited resources. She also knows how to care for her team, making sure everyone works in harmony and shines in the role that suits them best. She practically built Operations Team Z7 from the ground up. In just a few short months, she handled everything from recruitment and training to full deployment, leading the team to remarkable results. And to think, not long ago, she was just an honors student from the Business School who volunteered to join Endfield. No one expected a newcomer to rise so quickly and become a captain truly worthy of trust. If you've ever wondered about her passion, her drive, and her idealism, or about the simple wish that keeps her going, then... Driven by personal ideals and a fiery passion rather than corporate comfort, she chose to volunteer for Endfield Industries. Instead of opting for an easy administrative position during her rotation, Akekuri volunteered for frontline fieldwork and single-handedly rebuilt Endfield’s inactive Operations Team Z7. She handles active combat deployment alongside recruitment, strategy, and team management. Her recruits and team members include Antal, Ruy van Catcher, Estella Kerr (whom she personally rescued and invited), and Fluorite.

Perlica is serving as the Supervisor of Endfield Industries and the official spokesperson for the company. She is responsible for managing the Dijiang ship and implementing the vital technologies required to colonize the harsh planet of Talos-II. She is depicted as highly calm, resolute, and capable of handling major crises that often exceed company expectations. Perlica is a prodigy in Techno-Protocol. Her groundbreaking research laid the foundation for the Automated Industry Complex (AIC). Her designs allow even people with low aptitude to utilize Originium Arts normally. During a war roughly 10–12 years ago, a young Perlica suffered from a severe Blight infection. She was saved at the last moment by the Endministrator. To keep her alive, the Endministrator replaced her spine and several internal organs with artificial Originium structures. The Endministrator also gave her the name "Perlica." Brought aboard the Dijiang ship, she proved her intelligence by helping build the AIC system. When the Endministrator entered a deep slumber (dormant state) 10 years ago, she worked tirelessly to keep her promise and advance the project. Upon their awakening, she is the first to welcome them back.

Paimon

Despite her omnipresence in the story, marketing, and player communication, Paimon is something of an enigma with regard to the plot and Teyvat. Nothing is known about her life between the Cataclysm and prior to meeting the Traveler, nor what she was doing or what she was like prior to her arrival in Khaenri'ah, and even her basic nature is still unclear. It seems that even Paimon herself does not remember these details; she admits to Dr. Luneva that she isn't sure what her own species is, but is basically a human on a medical level. What is known according to herself is that she never encountered trouble, and the worst thing that ever happened was that she got 'super tired, got caught in some strange whirlpool and sucked out to sea', which was resolved when the Traveler fished her out. Paimon has a bubbly, outgoing, honest, and somewhat naïve demeanor. As a result, she occasionally comes across as blunt and rude. She is obvious about who she likes and dislikes, often giving "ugly nicknames" to those who annoy her, such as calling Venti the "Tone-Deaf Bard" and Arataki Itto as "Bull Chucker" (although she currently uses these as playful banter). Despite her small stature and sassy nature, Paimon cares for and comforts the people around her, occasionally acting like a big sister, especially toward children. She also shows great enthusiasm for food, rare treasures, and Mora. Despite occasionally bantering with the Traveler, Paimon is very attached to them and is shown to be fiercely loyal. She always sticks by their side no matter the danger and tries to keep them on their feet, including against overwhelming odds like Archons, the Eleven Fatui Harbingers, or a Sinner. She becomes anxious whenever the Traveler seemingly disappears or is separated from her. Paimon has also revealed that her biggest wish is for the Traveler's wish to come true, and has sworn to stay by their side.

Promeia

Promeia once wandered the Outer Ring until she was recruited as a member of the Sweepers, a specialized gang under Calydon's influence whose purpose was to track down people with irreversible Etherealization, whom the gang perceived as "unstable elements." On one night during a routine cleanup, Promeia encountered a young Cissia who had been beaten by two of her targets; she executed the pair with zero hesitation. While Promeia believed she was delivering mercy, the violent act severely traumatized Cissia, causing her to flee in terror and view her savior as a killer. Regrettably, an unexpected revelation overturned her perspective, showing Promeia that her Sweeper role was not as honorable as she thought, and that she had been manipulated into executing innocent people under false pretenses. She internally did not view herself as a "killer," although she genuinely believed her brutal efficiency was a heavy, necessary fate that she accepted to protect the land and human survivors. Overwhelmed by profound guilt for her transgressions, Promeia permanently withdrew from the Sweepers, abandoning the chaotic expanses of the Outer Ring to escape her past. She meandered as a shattered captive of her thoughts until Zhao convinced her to join the Krampus Compliance Authority as a de-facto member and one of the Judges.

Azrila is a disciplined and reserved Sankta operator assigned to Endfield’s Specialist Tech Division under the codename Ember. Before joining Endfield Industries, she once served as an Oathkeeper Knight under the Order of Steel Oath, fighting against the Aggeloi in the far north. As a young orphan, Azrila was taken in by the Order as a squire. She spent what remained of her childhood in the Order’s camps, training relentlessly in the frozen desolation of the Northern Frontier. For three consecutive years, she was able to reach the finals of the Steel Oath Annual Tourney—a feat few could achieve. During a critical engagement on the Northern Front, the 7th Cohort of the Order of Steel Oath unexpectedly lost contact, resulting in a major crisis for the Order. The loss of the 7th, responsible for guarding the rear supply line, threatened the stability of the entire front. Despite concerns over her inexperience, Azrila was tasked with leading a relief force to rescue the remnants of the 7th Cohort. Leading her unit through the relentless northern rains, Azrila assessed the situation and determined that the 7th Cohort had likely already been annihilated. She redirected efforts toward responding to distress signals from the 5th Cohort, unaware that the Aggeloi had developed the ability to mimic human voices. This deception led Azrila and her unit into a devastating ambush. The ensuing battle resulted in catastrophic casualties, including the loss of Azrila's adjutant, Nilla. Azrila barely survived. She was found unconscious after the battle and remained unresponsive for ten days. When she finally woke up, she could only recall the voices of her fallen comrades, haunted by their final calls for help. Guilt consumed her, and on the twentieth day of her recovery, she renounced war, declaring herself unworthy of the battlefield. She thus embarked upon a self-imposed exile and left the Order of Steel Oath.

A skilled martial artist and sharpshooter, Zhu Yuan uses the custom-made and versatile 'Suppressor K22' firearm in conjunction with swift punches and kicks to take down criminals. As a reputable officer, Zhu Yuan has a strict moral compass, looking down on criminals, but is shown to be okay with taking the assistance of Proxies if the situation calls for it. Zhu Yuan is a notable perfectionist, having set herself high standards to the point she has a complex, though such perfectionism has granted her exceptional experience and a record of no unresolved cases. She also exhibits an obsession with neatness, namely when it comes to her uniform. She's shown to be cautious around cats and other small furry animals due to the fur they shed. Zhu Yuan is shown to have a good relationship with her parents. Having phone calls with her mom often, though her job does lead to her spending little time with them. Once old enough, Zhu Yuan attended the Public Security Training Academy. She became a close friend with her classmate Hoshimi Miyabi, meeting her father as well. Upon graduation, Zhu Yuan's skills and success as a PubSec officer awarded her with the title "Rookie of the Year" and was chosen to lead the Criminal Investigation Special Response Team, headquartered in Lumina Square's Public Security Office. Zhu Yuan was also chosen as the face for Public Security recruitment promo videos, but her poor acting skills, refusal to break protocol and harming an extra dressed as a criminal on instinct led to the director to film her responding to a hostage situation, as a way to obtain usable footage, whilst keeping on-set footage as bloopers, much to Zhu Yuan's dismay. Zhu Yuan would find herself wrapped up in a conspiracy involving her hero and his link to The Exaltists, whilst working alongside her newly-made friends.

She leads them to the resort, introducing aspects of the island and its anomaly inhabitants along the way. Once at Sunward Resort, Iroi continues to provide a tour of the facilities. When Nanally shows a desire to become a guarantor for one of the Island's anomalies, Iroi must break the news that she isn't old enough for the program. Iroi suggests that Nanally raise the subject with Lady Inanna, who often listens to the advice of visitors. Iroi makes another appearance later, after Nanally has gone missing. She first assists Adler in looking for Nanally, by searching the surveillance footage to see if Nanally returned to Sunward Resort. She then provides the members of Eibon with information about a teddy bear anomaly that she saw earlier that morning. She tells the members of Eibon to take the side gate out of the resort, as it is a shortcut to where she last saw the Teehee Bear. Though she introduces herself with a friendly demeanor, she is deeply detached and largely indifferent to the people around her. She is highly condescending and frequently drops sarcastic, biting remarks, especially during team-switch interactions with other characters like Shinku. Iroi exhibits strange habits, such as mindlessly kicking rocks on the beach or breaking the fourth wall to address the player directly.

Mi Fu

13
4
Mi Fu’s primary narrative function revolves around her complicated relationship with Tangtang and the Qingbo Stockade. She is tasked with chasing down and capturing Tangtang, creating a cat-and-mouse dynamic that drives several story beats in the Wuling region. Interestingly, Perlica observes that Mi Fu never truly commits to taking Tangtang or her gang down for good, suggesting a more nuanced motivation beneath the surface rivalry. Mi Fu originally grew up in Qingbo Stockade, where she trained under traditional martial arts masters from a very young age. However, years ago, Viceroy Zhuang Fangyi enticed her away to Wuling City (allegedly using Sugar Oil Baba snacks). Because she left to serve their rivals, the Stockade labels her a "traitor," though she remains the true successor of Qingbo's martial arts style. Ranked second on Wuling's civilian combat power leaderboard, she fought to the bitter end against the dangerous Blight Tide. Seeking to find worthy opponents and protect her allies, she eventually sets out on an exchange journey with Endfield Industries. Although her official uniform and colossal Greatsword mimic Wuling's standard military protocol, her actual combat kit is deeply rooted in physical martial arts. She shares a deep childhood history and intense rivalry with Tangtang, the Chief of Qingbo Stockade. While the two fight fiercely whenever they cross paths, Mi Fu never deals a lethal blow to Tangtang. Their cat-and-mouse dynamic reflects the underlying truce between Wuling City and the Stockade.

Zhuang Fangyi is the Viceroy of Wuling Scientific Developmental District and a Tianshi of the Hongshan Academy of Sciences (HAS). She oversees the administration of Wuling City, and was the youngest Tianshi of the Wuling Science Station. Twenty years ago, she worked with Endfield Industries to prepare for Hongshan's Fourth Scientific Survey for Expansion. At the time, she was still an apprentice Tianshi. Years later, she volunteered for the Science Expedition, leaving the cities of the Hongshan Crater for the first time. Her observations at the Wuling Very Large Rift left a lasting impact on her career, and after a lengthy debate, her mentor named the then-science station Wuling. For a time, she believed they had conquered the rift. That opinion quickly changed when the accident that destroyed the original outpost occurred. Before long, the science station had been rebuilt into a city, with Zhuang as its Viceroy, though she dislikes the title and prefers to be called "Tianshi Zhuang" or simply by her name. She was one of the head researchers responsible for spearheading the mass production of Xiranite after her predecessors and a Feranmut Proxy invented the material. This research eventually led to Xiranite being able to be produced via the Endfield Automated Industry Complex. Also Zhuang Fangyi loves Chubby Lung plushie. Teke Teke

3
Teke Teke is a famous Japanese urban legend about a vengeful female ghost (onryō) who was sliced in half by a train. She drags her upper torso along the ground on her hands or elbows, making a distinct "teke-teke-teke" scraping sound, and hunts people down at night to cut them in half. In many versions of the lore, the girl was shy and often the target of cruel schoolyard pranks. One day at a train station, classmates tossed a cicada onto her shoulder. Terrified, she panicked, fell onto the tracks, and was run over by a high-speed train, which sheared her body in two. Dying in extreme agony and rage, her spirit transformed into a malevolent entity seeking vengeance. While she typically haunts railway stations and dark alleys, regional variations claim she can scale walls or sprint across rooftops. Despite having no legs, she moves with unnatural, terrifying speed by scuttling on her hands or elbows, often outrunning cars. When she catches a victim, she uses a scythe, sickle, or sheer supernatural force to slice them in half at the waist.
