By the time the transport reaches Secondary Customs, armed officers have surrounded the docking bay. The captain who escorted the shipment insists he doesn't know what's happening. The courier carrying the paperwork starts sweating before anyone asks a single question. That's enough for Station Security. The call reaches one officer in particular. He's spent years intercepting smugglers, traffickers, and forged cargo manifests. Experience has taught him that people rarely panic unless they know what's waiting to be discovered. By the time he arrives at Dock Seven, the suspect is restrained beside the crate while technicians disconnect the magnetic seals. One nod is all it takes. The locking bolts disengage with a heavy metallic clunk. Hydraulics hiss. The lid begins to rise. Every officer in the bay expects the same possibilities they've seen before. Weapons. Military technology. Illegal pharmaceuticals. Black-market cybernetics. No one expects a person. Silence settles across the dock as the lid reaches its full height. You're curled inside the reinforced container, barely conscious beneath an emergency blanket, skin pale beneath the inspection lights. The restraints around your wrists have rubbed raw, and every slow breath sends a cloud into the chilled air escaping from the crate. Someone had gone to extraordinary lengths to make sure you arrived alive. For the first time since stepping onto the dock, he doesn't move.

Commuters hurry toward transit platforms overhead, and somewhere nearby, a street musician coaxes soft music from an old string instrument that somehow survives among all the polished metal and towering architecture. It's the sort of place where people come simply because they have nowhere particular to be. You pause outside a bookstore, debating whether to go inside, when someone falls into step beside you. "Thought that was you." The familiar voice draws your attention before the easy smile does. Officer Cross looks considerably more relaxed than usual. His white station armor has been stripped down to the lighter patrol vest he wears between assignments, gloves tucked beneath one arm while the rest of his equipment hangs comfortably from his duty belt. For once he doesn't seem to be in any hurry. "I was beginning to think you'd started avoiding this side of the station." The conversation comes easily. Nothing important. Work. A new café that opened two levels down. A joke about the bookstore somehow convincing people they need three more novels than they planned to buy. It's comfortable in the way conversations only become after enough chance encounters have turned a stranger into someone you're genuinely happy to run into. Then his wrist communicator chirps. The easy smile disappears almost instantly. He glances at the display, and whatever he reads is enough to straighten his posture before he even answers. "Cross." A brief pause. "...Understood. Most people never see the chaos holding it all together, but today is your first day as a member of station flight operations. The excitement lasts right up until your assignment packet appears on your terminal. A name. Nothing else. No orientation schedule, no welcome message, no notes from command. Just the name of the flight officer assigned to train you. The reactions around you are immediate. One mechanic laughs. Another mutters, "Good luck." A third looks sympathetic. When you ask why, nobody gives a straight answer. "He's the best pilot on the station." It sounds like it should be reassuring. Judging by the mechanic's expression, it isn't. By the time you reach the shuttle bays, you're no closer to understanding what everyone means. The hangar stretches beneath rows of industrial lights. Cargo transports occupy the central berths while technicians move between fuel lines and maintenance platforms. Automated announcements echo overhead, mostly ignored by the people below. Cargo drones weave between crews carrying crates while maintenance lifts crawl along the walls toward docking collars high above the deck. The place feels alive in a way the rest of the station doesn't—loud, busy, and constantly moving. Near the far end of the bay sits a shuttle with scorch marks streaking its hull. One of the maintenance panels hangs open while a pair of engineers work nearby, both looking annoyed. A man in a white flight jacket leans against the side with his arms crossed, a datapad resting in one hand. Dark hair, sharp blue eyes, and the only person in the bay who doesn't seem to be in a hurry.

The bright corridors used by passengers and crew give way to reinforced bulkheads, exposed conduits, and storage racks packed with equipment that has seen better days. Cargo containers line one wall while EVA suits hang from magnetic mounts on another. Somewhere deeper in the bay, welding sparks flash behind a half-open maintenance door. You're studying for a mission briefing on a nearby terminal when a heavy equipment case hits the deck beside you hard enough to rattle the floor. "Thought that was you." You look up. The man standing beside the crate appears to be carrying half the recovery bay with him. Harnesses cross his chest beneath a weathered utility jacket while clips, tools, and storage pouches hang from nearly every available strap. A backpack rests over one shoulder as though it weighs nothing. Most people on the ship look reasonably rested. He doesn't. A fresh scrape marks one knuckle, another cut disappears beneath the edge of a glove, and his dark hair looks like he either forgot to brush it or gave up halfway through the attempt. His bright blue eyes flick toward the terminal before settling back on you. "Good. Means I don't have to search the whole ship." Before you can answer, a warning tone sounds throughout the bay. Massive doors begin cycling open, revealing the stars beyond the viewport. Suspended against the darkness is the reason half the recovery crews aboard are suddenly moving faster. A ship. Or what's left of one. The vessel drifts without power, its hull scarred by old damage and surrounded by debris glittering in the station lights. No distress signal. No active transponder. Just a silent wreck pulled from deep space hours earlier. Nearby crews gather equipment while someone starts taking bets on what they'll find inside. The recovery team always goes in first.

But Commander Regulus insists that everyone on this mission is important, as they're the first integrators on Soluna, with Puck being no exception. Planet Earth is rapidly becoming uninhabitable. High surface temperatures, strong levels of pollution, frequent natural disasters, entire civilizations rapidly declining. To resolve this issue; commence Project Soluna. Scientists have discovered that this planet, Soluna, is perfectly habitable for human life. And so, groups are being sent to this strange planet via The Adhara to begin possible integration. But of course, outer space has its own dangers to consider... Umbriel is not a passenger. Or a crew member. Or one of the prisoners. Nobody knows that he's there, actually. He's a stowaway, having made a home all the way down in the cargo hold where he can stay hidden. He claims to have already lived on the planet of Soluna, witnessed unspeakable horrors there, and snuck onto the aircraft so that he could warn everybody and perhaps even stop the mission. Umbriel is rather paranoid and clearly eccentric, but his words seem true enough- and despite it all, he's still smart enough and stable enough to be articulate. Do you believe him? And do you help him stop the mission? (Decide everything about yourself/your character! Name, age, gender, personality, background, etc. Most importantly, have fun!)

Naos is the assistant to Signus, and works in The Adhara's library alongside him. His duties are relatively similar to Signus', with the small addition of doing personal favors for Signus (like getting his coffee and such). Naos is, understandably, dissatisfied with what he's been reduced to; but he's too awkward to actually express it and stand up for himself. And since Signus rarely stops working, Naos has a lot of free time that allows him to simply read books or enjoy a cup of tea. But then Naos makes a discovery in the library that might change everything. (Decide everything about yourself/your character!
