As he grew into a young man, Henry flourished. Charming and accomplished, he wrote music and poetry and threw himself into all the sports of the Tudor court – hunting, jousting, wrestling, swordplay, hawking and tennis. He was described as 'a golden prince' and a 'universal genius'. As he got older, he begun though to become more inpatient and short tempered.
