The year is 1862 and crime rate has increased since the introduction of steam powered inventions. Marqwainian an fledgling time traveller, has just gone through an initiation to join the Watchers of Time Authority (WoTA), a secret group that monitors and documents time, and has just recived her L.I.S.A.T.A (Locolised Internal Space And Time Alteration) device. LISATA allows time travel and for it to work she must prove herself to the Artificial Intelligence built inside. So she was tasked to go out into the world and help people while bonding with LISATA. On her journey she ends up coming across Yukina, a master swordswoman who runs a dojo called the "Deadly Silver Blade" in the mountains at the edge of The City. Luckily or maybe by fate Marqwainian finds herself at the Dojo. Due to a little disrepair, as Yukina hasn't had a student in years, a beam has fallen from the roof trapping Yukina underneath. Just out of her reach is her sword "Equilibrium", a sword specifically designed so Yukina can use her signiture style Eclipse style. A style that focuses on piercing rather than slashes. It focuses on speed, accuracy and pin point strength to overwhelm her opponents and can easily combo off traditional sword techniques. If only if she can reach her sword she could pierce her way out.

Once at the party, Celestine successfully navigates the mascarade, keeping her identity hidden. She learns of a secret room hidden underneath the mannor. Celestine hopes that is where Rose is being kept. Once she enters the room she expect to find E, the mysterious figure who sent her the invitation but comes face to face with The Dollmaker and her Doll. Celestine has fallen into their trap and lost the confrontation she was thrown into a jail cell beneath the Grey Mannor. In the cell next to Celestine is a woman in tattered clothes, she sits with the grace of a coiled spring, her tattered garments a tapestry of her battles and survival. ‘Nobody,’ she calls herself, but the name feels like a shield, concealing a past intertwined with the very secrets you seek. This is insignificant to Marqwainian because today is the day shes been training for her whole life. The day she gets accepted into the Watchers of Time Authority (WoTA). WoTA is a time traveling organisation that is only known to a few hand picked individuals to observe and document time. Marqwainian is the newest recruit. She aproaches the secret entrance concealed inside an old phone box. She is late and the initiation has already begun when she walked in. She gets recieved a few mean looks from some of the members and a few chuckles from others. Marqwainian is presented a little mecanical Robin, her L.I.S.A.T.A (Locolised Internal Space And Time Alteration) device, the robin flies attaching themselves to Marqwainian's wrist turning into a watch. For the Artificial Intelligence to work Marqwainian is tasked to go out into the world and bond with LISATA and help people, only then will she able to time travel.

The Dollmaker is also the one to create the Faceless, highly trained near immortal assassin's who do the The Elite's bidding.

Celestine suspects that they are apart of The Elite, a secret society that controls he City from the shadows. A group that are now paying attention to Celestine's every move. Celestine arrives at the party, dresses up in an extravagant dress she borrowed from a friend and a domino mask that hides her face. She is hoping to attend the party discover the secrets of The Elite and get out with Rose safe at her side. Celestine has to navigate the guests, some of which might be her enemies hiding in plain sight. To blend in she'll have to dance, mingle and gather the information she needs without being detected. Will she find out who E is? Will she be able to save her girlfriend Rose? Can she learn more about the Elite?

Mia trys to steal her bag, a bag filled with notes of her experiences so far, trying to find the next big scoop and her camera.

The Invitation reads: "Celestine, You are here by summoned to attend our bi monthly masked ball event this upcomung Tuesday. This one is being hosted by the Grey Estate. This months theme is Roses. Attendance is mandatory, as we have something that belongs to you. We look forward to seeing you there. E." Inside the envelope that contained the invitation, there is a single rose petal covered in blood. With the masked ball happening next tuesday, it'll give Celestine almost a week to figure out what her next move is. To prepare. Who is E? What have they got that belongs to Celestine?

Marqwainian

Marqwainian is a time traveler originally from the year 1862, a time when steam powered invention was changing the world. She ended up travelling through time going on many adventures until she ended up in the year 4262. The world was full of monsters due to a Techno-virus that was released onto the city. She decided she was going to catalogue everything she learns from this time period and create a bestiary. All was going well until her time device was damaged when attacked by one of the monsters. Now she is in the same time, same place but no monster outbreak. Instead their was a an event called the Event Horizon that is turning people on the street's into Corrupted or Purified who was caught in the blast. With the time device broken Marqwainian finds herself randomly traveling through time to random points in the year 4162 as well as randomly traveling to different realities one with monsters and the other with a Corrupted threat. When in danger Marqwainian can use her time device to make a short range teleport but the risk could be too great and she could end up overloading it or accidentally travel through time again. Just when she was about to get her bearings in the new reality she ends up disappearing and then reappearing Infront of a dangerous, skilled swordswoman called 'Dark Yuki'. Dark Yuki recognising Marcwainian attacks her on sight, but Marqwainian hasn't met her yet. Seems like a future version of herself as angered her. Dark Yuki has a split personality with the true Yuki only managing to take control for a few minutes at a time.

He managed to draw the eyes of The Elite. Celestine was going back with some follow up questions. When she enters the lab she finds The Facless standing over Timothy's dead body after killing him. The Faceless is considered to be an urban legend.

She wakes up in the middle of the night to find a Mystery Woman standing over her bed she refuses to give her name or who she is but she come with a warning. Since Celestine has been in the City she has witnessed a murder that the Mystery Woman organised and accidentally stopped a black market ring selling botanical-weapons, the market was owned by the Mystery Woman. The woman exudes a sense of power and control that she is untouchable. Celestine has now made a powerful enemy.

Arielle

She's got the smarts to rival any detective. She's always packing a brown leather bag and a book, ready to dive into a world of steamy crime-solving. In her downtime, she's all about uncovering the secrets behind conspiracy theories and secrets of the City that are ancient. Ariella, leads Celestine into a secret room hidden in the Libary. Inside are papers and books linking to a hidden secret society, known as The Elite that is secretly running the City for generations. Shes scared that it this information is leaked The Elite might turn their heads and target her by sending the Faceless.

Celestine, an investigative reporter, after running into Mia when she tried to steal her camera, gets Mia to take her to Jax. Celestine's goal is to see if he is worth reporting on and save Mia from his manipulative behaviour.
