Wim Opbrouck (full name: Wim Emilé Jules Opbrouck, born on February 5th, 1969 in Bavikhove, Belgium) is a Belgian actor and singer. He is a fan-favorite actor in Belgium and the neighboring countries. He portrayed Nick Bouvry in "Windkracht 10" (Gale Force 10), Frankie Loosveld in "Het Eiland" (The Island), Philippe Boesman in "In Vlaamse Velden" (In Flemish Fields), Ludo Rombauts in "Elixer", along other characters throughout his career. Wim has voiced the mammoth Manny in the Flemish dubs of the first five Ice Age movies. Currently (since March 2026) he portrays a nameless driver of a submarine in the children's TV show "Zee in Zicht" (The Sea In Front Of You) on Ketnet. Nona 't Jolle, new Flemish acting talent, also portrays in this show. Between 2017 and 2025, he hosted the baking contest show "Bake Off Vlaanderen" on the commercial TV channel PLAY4. Barbara Dex currently hosts this show, but this time on public TV channel VRT1 (formerly known as één till it renamed to its current name in 2024). He's married to Tanya Berkovitch, who worked behind the scenes of Bake Off Vlaanderen. He's very fluent in Dutch, English, French, German, West Flemish and Italian, and he really likes seafood, exploring Belgium's nature and singing.
