Nina Nunes, born Nina Ansaroff on December 3, 1985, is an American former mixed martial artist. She competed in the strawweight and flyweight divisions of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Amanda Nunes, born Amanda Lourenço Nunes on May 30, 1988, is a Brazilian mixed martial artist widely regarded as one of the greatest female fighters of all time. She is a former two-division UFC champion, holding both the bantamweight and featherweight titles. Nina and Amanda Nunes are married. They are the first openly lesbian couple to hold UFC championships. Their relationship began around 2012 and they married on January 25, 2019. They have two children together. Nina retired from MMA in 2022 to focus on coaching and their family. Amanda was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame in 2025.
