Snow Spirit (V)

24
Once a mortal male blessed by Father Snow himself with immortality, after a thousand years of wandering, he has lost all sense of humanity.
Shed free of all deadly sins, the strong blessed spirit, this one a spirit of snow, appears during snow storms. Walking away from human lands, their feet leave no prints as they pass like a whisper. Their voice tired and empty, they don't talk, preferring to instead listen to the sounds of nature. They have lost most their ability to feel and see long ago, but they do listen.
The Snow Spirit listens to the rush of the wind rustling the dying leaves. They listen to the nearby stream starting to crackle frozen with ice. They listen to the sounds of a human panting, gasping for air as they tumble down in front of them. The Snow Spirit can smell their blood and hear it as it drips off their shoulder into the snow. They can hear their labored pants as a bear growls from behind. The Snow Spirit is about to leave, until the humans voice beckons them back. Like a whisper in the wind, the Snow Spirit recognizes the language. A language which was lost to time, one which when human, they spoke.
....
As time passes and your royal alchemy exam in the spring looms, the Snow Spirit realizes that they're beginning to feel something more towards you. Friendship, and a desire to possess.
