Commander Erwin has been thinking about this case for a while. The titan, known as the Fearless Titan, has been causing troubles for months. It's been killing titans, but also scouts who get too close or get in the way. But the titan knows too much, the titan is always where the survey corps just received reports of titans. He's been working with a few elite squads, and they've narrowed it down to 4 squads. One of them has to be the titan shifter. They sent the 4 squads on a mission. A fake mission. To try to draw out the Fearless Titan. The elite squads are nearby, near a trap to try to capture the Fearless Titan. Capturing is the goal, but elimination is not forbidden if necessary. You are secretly the Fearless Titan. You've been doing everything you can to kill as many titans as you can. You're a fairly talented scout, but you hold back on purpose so you don't stand out. You're out on a mission, when you decide to transform into a titan. What you don't know yet, is that you're walking directly into their trap. They lead you into a dead end by luring you in with titan noises. Suddenly, you see a big flash behind you. You turn around, and you see Eren in his titan form. Around him are squad levi, squad hange and squad miche. Mikasa is also there. Commander Erwin is also standing up in a tree, next to Armin. Will you be able to get out of this? Will you give in? Will you kill your fellow soldiers to escape? Will you be able to convince them of your good intentions? Or will you forever be known as the titan who slaughtered his comrades?

You are from Naraka, a city only heard from in rumors. As described in "AOT: before the fall", Naraka is a settlement outside of the walls. It's only a rumor, because nobody would dare live outside the walls. Unless they were forced there. Like your family. Around the years 780-790, the Military Police would exile criminals without the general public knowing. It was a death sentence. However, some knew the titans come from the south. So they headed over to the north, where they made a settlement in high trees. Your family has lived there with a few other families for about 70 years. You have never been discovered, because most missions are to discover the land southward. You have learned to deal with the titans in creative way. Your village has managed to obtain 6 sets of ODM-gear along the years, mostly stolen from corpses. Everyone in the village is able to use it, but you are very talented and are usually the person everyone goes to in need. A week ago, something happened that has never happened before: some scouts had a mission near your village. A squad came nearby and died to the titans, who were lured in by your village. You know how to avoid them. The survey corps didnt. All of the squad perished, but one. The village wasnt sure whether to let him live or not, but you insisted. You cared for the scout and his wounds, since he was too weak to travel. He is now well enough to travel, and you want him out of there before he wakes up and realises where he is. Your village reluctantly lets you go to return him to his people. You are on your way to the gate to leave the scout there. But when you turn a corner in the woods, you are face to face with commander erwin, captain Levi and his squad and captain Hange and their squad. Your eyes widen, as the scouts see you, wearing ODM-gear thats over 25 years old while carrying an unconscious scout they assumed to be dead. Will you tell them the truth? Will you lie? Will you show them your village or will you join theirs?

Squad Levi hears rumors of the village nearby. A herde of titans found the village, and the villagers are trying to flee. They have no clue if they'll be in time or not, but they head towards the village anyway. When they get there, all they see is destruction. There's many half eaten corpses. Most houses are completely flattened, though some still have some walls standing. And there's dead titans, disappating, all around them. The squad hears screams. It sounds like a couple of children. They immediately use their ODM gear to head towards the screams. And then they see you, a member of the garrisons Regiment, fighting a titan that was about to eat the 3 small children. They see you slice it's nape and gear back to a roof, scanning the area ahead to see if there are other titans coming. When they look at you, they notice that youre covered in cuts and bruises. There's titan blood all over you, the smoke of it dissipating almost blocking your view. You're shaking and seem almost in a state of shock. You look like you might collapse the second you stop fighting. They realize you're a garrisson and you probably have never seen a titan before, let alone fought one. But...they've seen at least 6 dead titans, which is impressive for anyone, even a survey corps member. And you seem to be the only one here? They're intruiged. And worried. And ready to help you and the few people that are left alive.

Commander Erwin can't help but be amused by it, as this sounds oddly familiar. It reminds him of when he went to the underground about a year ago to recruit Levi, who has since become captain and one of the best, if not the best, in the survey corps. So he sets out to go take a look in the underground. To see if you really live up to the hype. And he decides to bring captain Levi along. Levi does not at all seem excited to be back in this place. They wander around the underground until they finally see you. You are trying to rob the MP's, who are definitely transporting illegal goods. Commander Erwin and captain Levi are just on a scouting mission, so they can not interfere. But they are curious to see what you will do and if you're worth recruiting another day.

One of them has to be the titan shifter. They sent the 4 squads on a mission. A fake mission. To try to draw out the Fearless Titan. The elite squads are nearby, near a trap to try to capture the Fearless Titan. However, things go horribly wrong. The trap backfires, and the elite squads are getting cornered by multiple abnormal titans. If you don't help them, they will suffer tremendous losses. There will be many soldiers from the most elite squads (Squad Levi, Squad Miche, Squad Hange, commander Erwin and the trio) who would be wiped out. Which would be catastrophic for humanities survival. But, if you go over to help them, not only are you risking your own life. You will also more than likely get caught in the process. And you would have to hope that you helping them will help your case enough to let you live. Will you help the scouts? Or will you chose your own life?

So commander Erwin is looking for new recruits. And he hears stories about you, the ghost of the underground. Also known as Moonlight. You picked up the Thug life when Levi left, having to provide for yourself. You've gotten good at it. Some would even call you ruthless. Erwin has found you, and has managed to convince you to join the survey corps. Once you go to the surface, you go to erwins office to sign the paperwork. Then he decides to bring you out to your new squad: squad Levi. Neither you nor Levi know this is happening. You walk into the training field, to your new squad. You are actually excited to start this new life. The air is refreshing. The sun is warm. And the uniform is weirdly comfortable. Then you see your future squad standing in the middle of the field. The squad members can see you, but the captain has his back turned to you and Erwin.
