He was first revealed in PROJECT: PLAYTIME in a VHS tape and made numerous appearances in future Poppy Playtime media, including Chapter 3: Deep Sleep. This led up to his role as the main villain in the game's fourth entry. He also appears at the end of Chapter 5: Broken Things as a part of the Master Backup. A cunning, cruel and intelligent man, Sawyer was the Head of Special Projects at Playtime Co. and the originator of the Bigger Bodies Initiative.

He was the therapist of Daniel. It can be loosely assumed that he was the one who gave Daniel his cursed eye. The hospital appears to be called the Lovey-Flight mental hospital. He has been confirmed to be integrated into Late Night Urban Legend. (Appearance and trivia in the settings) Personality Nihil is a very kind, caring and empathetic person who has helped many people suffering from trauma or mental illnesses, as described by one of the staff members. Though for an unknown reason he has an ominous aura, making him hard to approach, as a young Daniel was hesitant to talk or move closer to him, he seems to have the ability to read minds, as he immediately responded that he is aware that he seems very suspicious to Daniel, despite the latter only saying this in his head. He's also rather vague, often letting people play around with words as it's unknown what he means by "special clinic" Life Nothing is known about him, except that he used to be a Count living in a large mansion built in a remote place, but for some reason he abandoned the mansion and opened a psychiatric hospital. At some point he met BELI∀L Ignis and seemingly became friends with him as there is a picture of BELI∀L in his office.

They are an unnamed ex-employee of Playtime Co., who revisits the abandoned factory a decade later to search for the company's missing staff after receiving an unexpected letter from an unknown person. Appearance While it's clear The Player is a human, their physical appearance is never seen in-game, and any surfaces that would reflect their appearance instead show their GrabPack and a white orb which is the light coming from their flashlight.[6] The Player is represented in-game by a faceless yellow mannequin with a spherical head, as seen in the GrabPack Training VHS tapes and in-game posters. However, even though their appearance isn't shown in-game, it can still be concluded that The Player may take a similar appearance to that of a Resource Extraction Specialist. Developer storyboards[7] for Chapter 3: Deep Sleep portray The Player as someone wearing a similar protective suit that the Specialists wear. Additionally, their storyboard design also portrays them wearing large boots and having the GrabPack attached to their back
