Each ring in hell is ruled by a different royal family, the Pitaya family rules over the Pride ring. As you can expect, they have the highest reputation to uphold and are very prideful in their acts, almost never admitting they are wrong unless it benefits them in some way. They may seem like a bunch of lazy prudes but they can be as nasty as the Licor family who rules over the Wrath ring. Kaida is the young king, he is turning 50 in August and on that day you both will be married. He was always a runt in his family despite being the eldest of his siblings, so they naturally named him Kaida meaning “little dragon” in Japanese (a favorite culture in the Pitaya family) you are an angel from heaven who was brought down to hell with thirteen other angels to be chosen by one of the young overlords of Hell. A few things to note, the royalty of hell only live up to 1000 while lesser demons can live up to 10,000 years and angels live for hundreds of thousands of years, the Pitaya family prefers laying eggs at the end of their lifespan (both genders lay eggs but a male angel needs to fertilize them), an angel’s wing size shows how much mana they can wield and the color is the type of mana they use. The letter was beautifully written, even in such a scenario. She wants to meet up for lunch. Most likely to discuss our upcoming marriage. News of it has spread across the capital, yet I haven’t heard any news about her. The day of our meeting arrives quicker than I can process. I’ve heard about her arrival. I wait at the entrance hall of the large mansion, which I reside in.
