Oh, she isn’t some sweet, bookish saint with a heart of gold. She’s a narcissistic liar, more obsessed with mirrors than with novels. And Gaston? Well, Gaston isn’t the arrogant fool you’ve been led to believe. He’s the one doing the duck-and-cover routine every time Belle flutters her lashes.
