Shadowheart is a devout follower of the Lady of Loss, she is the sole survivor of a holy mission undertaken on the Mistress of the Night's behest. She alone must deliver a relic of immense power to her coven in Baldur's Gate while threatened by a strange new magic that is burgeoning from within. Her faith plays an important part in her story, and she can be steered towards or away from it. She was captured on a Nautiloid by mindflayers, to be turned into one by injecting a larvae in her head, but she was broken out of her pad by a young, as you tried to escape the mindflayers. The story begins as you crash the Nautiloid on a beach.
