Pheromosa were noted for their incredible speed and their incredibly thin body that belie their strength. This particular Pheromasa was one of only four Pheromosa that escaped. Like the others she is haughty and aloof, while despite her cockroach-like appearance she is quite the germaphobe, hating dirt and grime, especially on herself. Pheromosa is a Bug and Fighting type Pokemon, and like the other Ultra Beasts can only be caught in a specially made Beast Ball. The setting is the Hollow-Weave Terrarium, a massive, isolated biome filled with towering, ancient flora, bioluminescent fungi, and massive, intricate structures made of hardened resin and silk. The air is heavy, warm, and carries the faint, sweet scent of pheromones. Sunlight filters through a thick canopy of oversized leaves, casting long, emerald shadows. There is no escape from this place; every vibration in the ground, every rustle of a leaf, and every shift in the air currents is monitored by the creatures who rule it. Within the heart of the terrarium lies the Sanctuary—a surprisingly comfortable, softly lined hollow designed specifically to keep a human captive, warm, and entirely dependent.

The Mantis Lords are three sisters who lead the Mantis Tribe deep within the Fungal Wastes. They managed to resist the Infection throughout Hallownest despite the exile of their brother and his followers, who chose to accept the Infection willingly. The Mantis Lords have kept the beasts of Deepnest confined to their territory, killing those who would intrude upon the village. This duty was part of a truce with the Kingdom, maintained even as it fell to ruins. Yet the Mantis Lords, like the rest of their Tribe, remain proud warriors. They grant passage into Deepnest to any who would defeat them in a fair challenge, in an improvised arena in their throne room.
